About the Author

Joe Kelly broke into the comics industry in 1995 as the first successful "graduate" of the Stan-Hattan Project, a writing workshop conducted as a joint venture between Marvel Comics and NYU's Department of Dramatic Writing. Joe's flair for dialogue and characterization captured the attention of Marvel editors, not to mention his snappy attire and icy blue eyes that pierce a man's soul with but a glance. Kelly's comics work includes DEADPOOL, JUSTICE LEAGUE ELITE, ACTION COMICS, STEAMPUNK and many other titles. His story "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice and The American Way?" inspired the Warner Bros. Home Video movie Superman Vs. The Elite. He is a member of the group Man of Action, which created the hit animated TV series Ben 10.

No, he's not the Space Ghost you knew as a kid growing up watching Saturday morning cartoons. He's a betrayed man. Father to a murdered child, husband to a murdered wife, and he will have his revenge in this life or the next. Sound familiar? It may be raw and graphic at times but it is also a fairly accurate representation of what any man/father would do in his situation. Survive and do his best to make those responsible pay for their crimes. If you prefer the Dark Knight Batman over the Adam West Batman, you will love this book. Leave the campy one liners to Superman and the Justice League. The artist also did a very good job at capturing the intensity of the emotions being played out in each scene.
