Oleg Georgievich Nechaev, the author of the collection, was born, in the middle of the last century, in the Mesozoic part of the city of Prokopyevsk, in the south of the Kemerovo Region, Western Siberia. The severe environmental conditions that surrounded the author from the moment of birth, remoteness from the main cultural centers of a huge country left an indelible imprint on his worldview, which could not but be reflected in his works. A man of little talkative, in some places unsociable, in the period from 1992 to 2007, he wrote a series of autobiographical short stories, bringing them together under the general title "Special Task". It is not known where the author drew historical information, described in the main story of the collection "Special task", but the geography of the story covers quite vast territories: from the North-West of our country to the spurs of the North Caucasus. Occultism, a fantastic plot, military events of the Second World War and attempts to understand, and where, nevertheless, the gold of the Kuban Rada disappeared, entwined into one incredible tangle of events that have no real prototypes, both in real life and in historical retrospective. A characteristic feature of the author's works is that the characters in his stories, as a rule, are still living, having familiarized themselves with their own biography, as expressed by the author, fully agreed with his interpretation. Therefore, the book will be interesting, first of all, to the inexperienced life experience, the reader aged from 6 to 60 years. Enjoy all the reading.
