Spectral Delivery is set in the world of Eric Garrison’s Road Ghosts series and takes place after the end of book 2. But readers could easily pick up this tale and enjoy it on its own, especially if they’re not sure how to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The new girl at the pizza place just wants to get off on time to hang out with her boyfriend. Her mentor seems just as keen to watch the clock, so all should go well. But knocking on the door of the Dudes’ home isn’t quite the same as walking the path to the old witch’s house, even if you do know she wasn’t really a witch and childhood tales had no basis in truth. Just an old woman. Just be nice to her... The final customer wants all the fillings, and Enid’s going to learn more than she expected on this short trip into the paranormal. Luckily Brett’s not just a good driver. He knows his roads and his ghosts. And this story’s fun! Disclosure: I loved book 1, am looking forward to book 2, and couldn’t resist a free copy of this short story.
