The Big Time story arc kicks off with some really big changes for Peter and it really works. Dan Slott crafts a tale which many haven’t been able to in the past and that’s letting Peter have some good luck that isn’t immediately taken away. The new supporting cast members and environment appear promising and the “New” Hobgoblin makes sense and is a good villain. Slott still delivers the funny and I doubt that will ever change. I know I’m in the minority but I still am not a fan of Humberto Ramos’ art. While I liked his version of the villains in the book I couldn’t stand any of the characters out of costume and his Avengers. Overall a really good book!

Peter Parker is left without a home, a job, or any money. At this point, I think that everybody is relieved to find that Peter is finally getting his priorities straight and getting a great job at Horizon Labs. But, as Peter says, "A bad event has to occur to even out a good one." Therefore, a new Hobgoblin has emerged in Rodrick Kingsley's place and he's threatening Peter's new job. Many heroes unite to halt Doctor Octopus' attempt to blow up New York. PROS: -Humberto Ramos really works well with Dan Slott's humorous script. His art is also vibrant and unique, which is very rare with artists today. Plus, he is great with introducing Peter's new friends and making an expansive environment. -Dan Slott handles everything well and doesn't crack under pressure. Everything is introduced well and many new, interesting characters. -I felt like a kid in a candy store when I saw all of the cool gadgets in the Hobgoblin's storage facility. -Spider-man isn't drowned in the team-up at the beginning and actually saves the day. You would think that three different teams would drain out one hero, but it doesn't. -Spiderman's new suit is freaking awesome. I love the design and Slott uses it wisely to his advantage. CONS: -Black Cat is dressed very skimpy. Nothing is really sown, but still...you wouldn't want to buy this for a small kid. -Dan Slott uses a ton of pop culture refrences, which the older sudience may not understand. Altogether, this is a great story, which I highly reccomend. Get it.

This was a fun comic to read. As Spider-man living large at his new job, evil is also on the rise and his name is the Hobgoblin. What I also like about this comic is Spidey's new costume, the Stealthsuit.
