I found the story to be thrilling and engaging from beginning to to end. The art was amazing! and it really added to the action aspect of this story. they story on the whole so far ( I say so far because this is the first in a series according to the creators of the story) is pretty dark. it deals with some pretty sad stuff. However their is a little bit of romance between two of the main characters and a good amount of comedy to off set the sad concepts. I really enjoyed the story which I found to be very original and exciting.

Spirit Armageddon is different from your ordinary "manga", and not also your ordinary "comic". The book is big and thick. It gives the deluxe feeling like those of an artbook. The great cover also helps in making those ambient. 202 pages might be ordinary for a manga, but if you think you can read it in several minutes, you'd actualy end up spending at least an hour or maybe much more if you're a slow reader. Because it is a big 202 pages that is so full of detail on the art and story. The story revolves around America in the future corrupted era. Small asteroids have been raining down the world and it gives people special inhuman powers. Most of the 'infected' people ended up insane because they can't control the power. They went on a bloody rampage and it takes people with the same power to stop them. That is when the Armageddon project is started by the government. They set up a special forces that consists up Medians (what they call for those people with superpower) to recover the world from this dark crisis. But can they realy makes the world better or even worse, only time can tell. The art is awesomely detailed, especially in the early chapters. The style is pretty much of a manga, but it has a different feeling. You'll find detailed shading on every cell that you won't find everyday in other manga.
