The main objective of the quest has been achieved, now the Fates had set the chosen Elves on the second part of the task. Now, it is time to face the journey back home and they are to bring the Kings of this long forgotten part of the Empire to meet with the others at the Counsel of Kings table.
There are hidden dangers to face, things which only the Elves they have found encased in the castle at the far end of the Empire know how to break through. To get home, it will take the combined talents of the Ancients, as well as those of the new generation to get past.
Old Kingdoms will be brought back from the brink of extinction, while Elves from different times and cultures find Life Mates and face the challenges it takes to return to where it all began. In the meantime, those in the established parts of the Elven Empire gather, to celebrate their time of Light and Life.

About the Author
I don’t really know what to say about myself. I have been writing books since before I became a teenager. Most are still hidden in the closet. I used to make up my own stories as a child, everyone used to act them out while we were playing outside. As a teenager someone issued me a challenge. I told her that her stories stunk, she told me to do better. My job growing up was to play guardian to my little brother, keep him safe. That meant I ended up getting into more fights than enough – makes sense now that I write about warriors. My family will try to tell you that I’m not innocent, I have a personality that keeps them on their toes. Over my lifetime and theirs I have earn several nicknames – The Godmother, The Evil Christmas Elf (comes from making my nieces wrap their own Christmas presents), Mistress of Ambush. My favorite response to them when they try to get me into trouble is just to look at them with a wide doe eyed expression and say “Moi?????” I have a seal point Siamese cat named Snoop, named after my favorite cartoon character and hobby. I have a “healthy” but small collection of Snoopy memorabilia. He is a character alright; never met a cat who can talk back like he does. He expects daily dosages of adoration on his schedule when he wants it – not when it’s convenient for me and he HATES snow. I come from a very large family (mostly brothers) and I could outrun the whole works of them (I’m the shortest!). It was called survival. This book has been in the making for a long time now. Over a half a year to write it, about the same amount of time to edit it, and probably about the same amount of time to get the art work and website! I have learned you can’t control the timelines of other people – Murphy likes to step in. So for now I am setting up good luck charms everywhere… didn’t know I had that many stuffed Snoopy’s. *Fingers, legs, toes, eyes and anything else I can crossed*

Spirit of the Light by M.A. Abraham is the 2nd book in her One Empire series. Spirit of the Light picks up where Hidden Kingdoms (1st book) left off. With the war just about over, the story concentrates on the journey home for the Elves who were assigned by the fates to save an ancient king, and found many hidden kingdoms along the way. King Askander and his men are all in the stages of recovery, but he wants to gather his warriors to finally eliminate all the remaining demon hybrids, but the Elves will convince him to wait and allow them to bring in other ancients and their own powerful men to handle those hybrids. During an amazing spell to eliminate all hybrids, which also includes Eden & Gabriel’s fertility spell, which once again finds most female life mates pregnant. Once the mission is complete, the elves will take the long and difficult journey back home, bringing the long forgotten ancients and kings of the Hidden Kingdoms to meet with the Counsel of Kings, and become part of the Elven Empire. The length of time this journey will take also brings more difficulty as all the women are having their babies at the same time. What follows is an interesting and fun adventure, as we get meet so many new characters of the younger generation, as well as the ancients. There were so many characters in the story that it was hard to keep up with them, which amazes me how M.A. can blend all of the characters so well, and know who is who. Spirit of the Light was a quick, nice and fun addition to the One Empire series. M.A. Abraham continues with her trademark of exciting stories, fun bantering among the warriors, and the introduction of all the new characters; many of whom are young members of the Eagle Claw family. If you are an Elven Chronicles fan, you need to read Hidden Kingdoms, than read Spirit of the Light.
This is an exciting and magical story of the renewal of all the Elven Kingdoms. Ancient Kings found, destruction of the Demon Hybrids, and many Elves finding their life mates. Then the yearly Celebration of Light with all the Elves and their children having fun together and enjoying good food. At long last enjoying some peace again. There's action, suspense, romance; and humor!! No one tells the stories of Elves like this outstanding author does, she brings everything to life and you feel as if you are right there. I highly recommend this book and all the other books she has written.
