I really do love this cast of characters and I think this may be my favorite book of the Pyper series yet. When Pyper’s brand new brother Bo gets himself in trouble with a nasty curse, the entire cast of characters come to her side to help keep him and his “friend” Regan safe. Throw in a jealous girlfriend, wedding shopping, corrupt cops, and a feisty over protective Ida May and you have a recipe for trouble. There were some twists and turns in the book that I didn’t see coming until almost the very end; which kept me on my toes. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like the addition of Bo; however, he proved himself worthy of being down with the gang. Even his girlfriend Regan gets my stamp of approval. Can’t wait for the next installment. The series just keeps getting better.

This book literally is my favorite book by far in either both the Jade Calhoun or Pyper Rayne series. Pyper is a great character, and in this fourth installment in the series, she has her hands full with her teenage brother and his friend, as well as planning a wedding. I just love the interactions between the characters as they are so life-like and true to how real people would act. And, the mystery was interesting and fun, too. Just the way Ms. Chase’s book are: great fun, great characters, and great plot! And, to be totally honest, I literally cried tears at the end of the book. It was just so touching. I hope they can achieve what they were setting out to do at the very end. I know that sounded really vague, but I have to sound that way or I’ll spoil the end, and I hate spoilers. If you love this series, you will love this latest; like I said before, it’s the best so far! Highly recommend! Thanks to the author for the e-copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Another excellent story with Pyper, Jade, Kat, and even Ida May made a few appearances! Magical revenge is the problem in this story and Pyper is in the thick of things. Trying to plan her wedding to Julius Pyper finds the perfect dress and necklace...but alas there is a curse. Which hits too close to home for Pyper. I devoured this book in one sitting...absolutely loved it. Deanna Chase's writing hooks me from the first page and I can't stop reading...
