This is one of the insightful book on spirituality for me, though I am not a nurse. But I hope some of the nurses will add spiritual dimension to their work. The part that I resonated with was the fact that; "Spirituality is multifaceted dimension comprising numerous components interacting at many level of awareness. The connections that link the person's internal spirit and its outward expressions are many, one's spirituality ebbs, and flows sometimes in an even flow, sometimes in trickles, and infrequently in tumultuous 'peak experience' toward the fulfillment of one's life. The person's experience of God, as God is perceived, and of the ultimate values that govern and shape one's life is not static. Each person longs to experience the integrity of a life lived out through time in a rich woven tapestry." This was great for me.
