Phillip grew up in Kansas City and attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. Phillip received his MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
Dr. Janice M. Williams-Porter was born in Tylertown, MS and grew up in Progress, MS. She graduated from South Pike High School in Magnolia, MS and attended Jackson State University where she earned a B.S. degree in Biology and a Master's in Science. She earned a Specialist degree in Education from Saint Mary's University in MN. Janice fulfilled a lifelong dream by earning a Doctorate of Education in K-12 Leadership at Bethel University in Saint Paul, MN. She has worked in the field of Education for thirty years in numerous roles; as a principal, director, science specialist and teacher in traditional and non-traditional K-12 schools. She is co-founder of the national blue ribbon K-6 charter school Friendship Academy of Fine Arts located in Minneapolis, MN.
Her passions are biblical studies, spending time with her family, reading, teaching, and traveling. She is blessed to serve in her church as a Deaconess, Director of the Christian Education Ministry, Sunday school teacher, and an Executive Board member.
Ethel Lee Norwood currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the past forty-eight years. Ethel Lee is proud of being born and raised in Sweetwater and Selma, AL. She attended Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL in and graduated from Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN with a B.A. degree in History and Social Studies as a Secondary Education Teacher twenty years later. Ethel's Master's course work was with the University of Wisconsin in River Falls, WI and University of St. Thomas Leadership Certificate program.
Ethel has maintained membership with Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church over 40 years, served as Deaconess and Spiritual Gifts teacher, Youth Director, and Trustee.
