5 Stars A awesome ending to the Desert Son trilogy. Action packed and full of suspense, this book will hook you and keep you until the end. I highly recommend this entire series to all.
Life has been anything but normal for Carter and his wife Brenda. Strange happenings seem to be part of their day now. Neither of them expected these strange happenings to continue after they moved cross country though. They have a child now and will do anything to keep him safe. Carter and Brenda want explanations for the craziness in their lives. Will they find them? Mr. Maynard continues to surprise his readers with the unique way he approaches the spirit world. Very well written and plotted. Characters you'll love and just enough twists to keep you off balance. Refreshing and brilliant, you will be unable to put this book down. It taps your heart and soul from page one. This is the third book in the trilogy. I found it just as enthralling as the first two books. Read this one or the other two alone or as part of the trilogy, you'll want to buy copies for friends. Perfect for a book club read too. I didn't find issues. I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because of its outstanding story line. ~Copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it.
Absolutely Wonderfully Compelling! As a big fan of Maynard, I absolutely fell in love with his latest, Spiritual Intervention. He is a true storyteller, and that the feeling of the story, the continuous of Carter and Brenda's story lingers and compels the reader to want more. I read this book from start to finish in one sitting, and I was anxious at each page turning. It's hard to get away from a stalker, especially when it's a spirit. Carter and Brenda wanted to get a fresh start, but there is no such thing in literary land, especially when there is more room for dramatics. This time, the evil spirit focuses on Adam. It's a glorious and magnificent showdown for peace of mind and peace of life. Compelling piece of work, and a grand conclusion to the trilogy.
