Moving to Venezuela with her family in 1956, when she was in the third grade, Connie's life changed to one of color and adventure. Her dad was offered and accepted the position of Materials Engineer for the construction of the Bocono dam. Three other American engineers brought their families and plans were for everyone to stay while the Bocono Dam was being built. Circumstances got more complicated after they arrived. About the Author
Writing her grandfather's life story in 1978 was the first of many oral histories she wrote for friends and acquaintances, in addition to pursuing her other career. She started her Personal Historian business in 2003. Connie is a member of the National Association of Personal Historians along with the local chapter, Portland Association of Personal Historians, and Genealogical Forum of Oregon.
