Overall, I think that Spring Breakdown was one of my favorite reads in the Carter House Girls series. These books are short and fun to read and are narrated by a Chrstian girl named DJ who lives at Carter House with her grandmother and the other girls (if you have read the On the Runway series, some of the girls from Carter House are mentioned). I thoroughly enjoy Melody Carlson's work and recomend her books to tween girls.

This series as a whole is amazing! I loved reading about these fiction but realistic characters and their tough journeys to faith in God. This book is great for more older young adults who have had experience and knowledge in worldy things. This I believe is for more mature readers because some of the subjects presented are more "adult" and too deep from not mature readers. Great series!!!!!
