This book is a great guide for caregivers of the elderly, whether they are your parents, relatives or strangers. It is a great reference book. It guides you through many stages of care. It shows you many types of care available to Seniors and helps you decide which care is best. This book will help you answer questions that most people either avoid or don't know how to ask. If you have parents who are Seniors or soon to be, or have health that is failing, I would highly recommend this book as a guide to making better informed decisions.

This book was super informative! It covers so many aspects of being a caregiver as well as being an adult child with elderly parents! This really is a must have!

As a nurse in the field of geriatrics, I was very disappointed in this book. It did not address many key issues that caregivers may face as their loved one ages. There was no mention of "Do Not Resusciatate" or the effects of Cardio Pulmonary Resusciatation on the elderly. No discussion of whether or not to put a feeding tube in when the loved one is no longer taking in adequate nutrition. This book seemed to sugar-coat the sometimes very difficult realities of aging. I felt the entire tone of the book was more of a PR campaign for the home care company of the authors than that of a guide to the elderly and their care. Again, very disappointed.
