Okay just finished Stake You, it did not disappoint. I love Dev she was tough but really sweet deep down, really deep deep deep down lol. Base was great I really love his character. He was funny, sweet & really sarcastic what’s not to love about him. I hated Dev’s mom I can’t stand a weak female. Deco & Shauna were so lame they should’ve been dating, both losers. Sully was so twisted & so lame with him being a typical vamp that h.s. girls love to fantasize about. I keep cracking up he thought he was so cool & mysterious. All in all great book. I love Dev & Base sad its over though. I love books where the heroine/lead female are not annoying, whiny, stupid little girls like in most YA books. I would recommend this book to anyone its really good buy it you won't regret it.

enjoyed the deviant social parallel of abuse to the vampires hunger and power. the characters were believable and strong in their roles and dynamics with one another. love many different paranormal stories but it was refreshing to have the hero and heroine be powered by their own strengths and weaknesses of their humanity while fighting the supernatural. it was also refreshing to see the players in the story to react to such overwhelming and daily problems in a manner recognizable to their age.

I really love this book. Its nice when you come across a book that really draws you into to the story so deeply you feel youre there. The characters are amazing and i love the way Sully was written. He was terrifying. This book had me on the edge of my seat. What a thrilling ride! I definitely recommend this book. I cant wait to read Make You!!

Seriously a freaking awesome book. I finished it in less than a day so it certainly makes for a quick, enthralling read. The main character Develin's hard exterior and tough personality instantly intrigued me. But it also promised skeletons in the closet to uncloak. The wry, blunt writing style that often had me laughing also changed to very sincere and heartfelt. All in all a super amazing book. Definite recommend and page-turner! There was always something new happening, keeping me braced. I cannot wait to read the following book in the series as well as other stories by this author.

The main character reminds me of Buffy the vampire slayer.

This book is about 170ish pgs. The story is a little predictable, but still well done. Really needs some editing! !

There are 2 other books in this series, but it isn't a cliff hanger, which I am incredably grateful for. Great character developement with ALL of the characters. I love how tough Dev acts on the outside, but on the inside, she's really incredibly sensitive. Her character was very relateable on my part. I loved Base and his relationship with Dev and how they both thought they hated each other, but them going on a vamp hunt brought them closer. Definately not the cliche "oh my god, he's a hot vampire who just wants to be understood, and he picked me to be his life-long soulmate for all eternity because I'm SPECIAL, and his eyes are just sooooo blue and dreamy!" kind of book. I will definately be reading the rest of the series and quite probably more of Claire Farrell's works. Fun read.

Kept me reading through the night. Sully was a Creeper with a capital C. Probably one of the best written bad guys I've ever read. The characters were well developed, and I definitely want to read more of the series. Great author!
