Overview

There are some individuals who go through life and have the capacity to perceive and embrace a broader picture of this world.

These are the people who, with the right kind of guidance and foundation, influence the society in which they live, because they know they can.

These are the people who make a positive impact on the lives of others and never acknowledge the alternative, because to them there is no alternative.

These are the people who don't expect promotion or compensation or acclaim for their deeds, because they are only doing what is right.

These are the people who help others see the world as they do...Ike McKinnon is one of these people.

This book is a must read for everyone. It's inspiring, motivational, and at times hilariously funny. Reading about Ike McKinnon's rise through the Detroit Police Department and his ability to not be stained by the racism and corruption around him is incredible. That he came back to be chief of police and help clean it up is perfect! It's a great read--wonderfully written and truly inspiring.
