Standing Strong by Teresa Giudice

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and New York Times bestselling author Teresa Giudice opens up about the last few tumultuous years in her candid emotional memoir.

In her second memoir, Teresa chronicles her life since her release from prison and what it’s been like to weather difficult times as a single mother. Though she recounts the happy memories she has experienced, she also touches upon some of the darkest times of her life, including her parents’ hospitalizations for severe medical issues in late 2016, which led to the tragic passing of her mother in 2017. With unparalleled honesty and courage, Teresa opens up in Standing Strong in ways she never has before, showing her fans what it truly means to be a survivor.

I love Teresa, big fan, but this book made me want to scream. She says she's pissed at Joe, loves her daughters, she works more then ever because Joe screwed her over, she's a single mom, and that she misses her mom about 50,000 TIMES! Thats the whole book for're welcome, because i just saved you time, money, and a headache!

I'm disappointed. Just as I thought, Teresa is making herself out to be a martyr. The book just seems to drone on & on about how she sacrificed herself for her family. And again as usual, if you are expecting to hear some kind of confession from her about her legal problems, she doesnt. She blames everything on husband Joe. She keeps playing the dummy - card and she just did as she was told. Still no acc out ability from her. Waste of my hard earned money for sure. The book is very repetitive and only 160 pages for $13.99. Not a good buy either

I read the sample based on the only other review here. Apparently that review was by a Teresa hater, because this is the most honest, well written book from her yet. I feel like this is the real Teresa, not the one portrayed by the show or the tabloids. Her pain, her anger, as well as her strength are all very evident but there's also evidence of growth and a poise to her work that was lacking before. This is her best book yet.

All I saw here was a person with more money than brains, whining about how tough her life is. Honestly, what about all those "friends" she talks about? Surely they could pick up her uber-spoiled kids for her from time to time. And about that "work, work, work" business: a real job would kill her! She puts on a ton of makeup and hair extensions and signs books or role-plays on TV. Seriously?? Boo-hoo! I'm sure she also never does a lick of housework or mows that lawn. All done by paid staff! Buy this book if you like whining. Otherwise save your money!!
