She uses her fame as a wall around her heart, and only he can tear it down.

Seth Rafferty knows Heather Wainwright's type.

Demanding. Check.
Self-important. Check.
Leggy and blonde. Yeah, he knows the drill.

He's been a Hollywood production designer far too long to have patience for A-listers with a superior attitude. Beautiful women with a chip on their shoulder are a dime a dozen.

Which is why his obsession with Heather makes no sense. Nothing about her is attractive.

Except the vulnerability under the sass. The honesty under the attitude.

So when wrap-party flirting gets carried away, Seth doesn't stop it from turning into a sizzling night of passion. Too late, he realizes, one night isn't going to get her out of his system.

On to plan B: uncover the real woman under the diva.

Soon Heather will find out that Seth isn't just a simple carpenter she can use and lose without consequences. He'll play the part of the builder, but it's her walls he intends to break down.

About the Author

With over 1 million books sold, Laurelin Paige is the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today Bestselling Author of the Fixed Trilogy. She's a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there's kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn't seem to complain, however. When she isn't reading or writing sexy stories, she's probably singing, watching Game of Thrones and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She's also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn't do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio.

I love Laurelin Paige and I've read nearly everything she ever wrote. Star Struck is one of the very few exceptions and I am so glad that she re-released it with this incredible cover because otherwise, I am not sure whether I would've found the time to fit it in my reading schedule :) If I have to describe the book with only few words, I would say sexy, romantic and just a little bit heartbreaking. It doesn't hurt that he male lead is simply yummy. In my opinion, everyone should meet Seth. He is one hottie that needs to be in your BBF list ;) Initially, I wasn't exactly a fan of Heather. I thought she was definitely stuck-up and also a snob. Which, considering she was coming from "the wrong side of the tracks", was kind of ridiculous. But she definitely found the way to redeem herself and after finding out more about her past, I might even go as far as saying that I can understand her. At least partially. And thanks to Seth, she did manage to get free from the chains from her past that were keeping her from fully experiencing life and enjoying the things that bring her pleasure. Seth on the other hand, I fell for him from the very start. He is alpha in every sense of the word. And it doesn't hurt that he is gorgeous. His past was also not easy and a betrayal from a person he loved, nearly destroyed his chances with Heather. But he did find the way to redeem himself :D Though, to be honest, I don't think Heather could've lived without him :D So, in a few words, if you are looking for a steamy read for the hot summer nights, you don't have to look any further. Star Struck is everything you are looking for with a touch of romance and a sprinkle of heartbreak. So don't waste your time and pick your copy now

Star Struck was a great sexy story in the Hollywood Heat series. Seth and Heather heat it up in this book and the dram will suck you in. Yes we have diva drama coming at you in all directions from Heather. Seth feeds off it and only has the urge to strip down Heather's façade to find the real woman behind the glamour. The intensity level these two have are on over load. The sexuality is almost too hot to handle. I love that we get to learn and fall for these characters all the way down to their roots. In the middle of the book, my heart softened towards Heather and I felt the guilt Seth carried for holding back some truth. I love Heather's assistant Lexi. She knew how to bring Heather back to the real world. She was also team Seth and Heather from day one. Star Struck was written to perfection and is a short story that took me half a day to read. You learn that people are not what they always seem to be. There may be a past they are running from. I was hopeful at the end that Seth and Heather would have a happy ending. I enjoyed this book and will forever be a fan of Laurelin!

What do you get when you put a snobby actress from the wrong side of the tracks and a super-hot alpha guy that's good with his hands together? Perfection, if you're reading 'Star Struck' by Laurelin Paige. Heather Wainwright is the Hollywood 'IT' girl of the moment, in much demand, and at the top of her game. She is the actress that all ingenues want to be like, and all the leading men want to date. But Heather's life hasn't always been the dream that it is. She comes from a less-than-spectacular background, and will do most anything to keep this hidden from her adoring public. Seth Rafferty has also worked hard to rise to the top of the heap in Hollywood. Seth, while not proud of his background, refuses to hide who he is and where he comes from, except when it comes to Heather. He wants to teach her a lesson, and have a good time while doing it. I am a huge fan of Laurelin Paige. Her 'Fixed' series has one of my all-time favorite book boyfriends, after all. In 'Star Stuck,' she has given us Seth Rafferty, and let me tell you, he ranks right up there at the top. Not only is he gorgeous and sexy, he's smart and sweet, and can easily keep up with Heather, giving as good as he gets, and making her a better person along the way. And while, at first glance it would be easy to dislike Heather, you really can't, because it becomes clear why she acts the way that she does. Even she doesn't really like the person that she's become, but isn't secure enough in herself to make a change. This book was HOT from the get-go, and I could not put it down. The interchange between Heather and Seth was by turns funny and sweet, and always sexy as all get-out. And Lexie, I just adore Lexie. Heather lucked out for sure when she landed such a smart, loyal, and sassy chick to be her PA. I'd love to see her in her own story (hint, hint, Laurelin!). Five hot and sexy stars!

Heather and Seth share a similar background. They have both worked hard to reach the pinnacle of their careers. They differ in how they have dealt with their past. Heather is still ashamed of where she came from. She has hidden her past and is obsessive at maintaining her star status by only rubbing elbows with people in her "social class". This is why she is perceived as a snob and a diva. Seth has worked and scaled to Hollywood Production Designer and never forgotten his roots. Working lesser jobs does not upset him if it is for a good cause. He strongly believes in bonding with what a person is not discriminating according to "social class". When our characters finally meet, it is a nuclear explosion of two opposites. First impressions are not always positive or true. Heather and Seth are about to find out they need to look deeper into each other's souls. What is indisputable is the attraction between them. It is explosive and raw. The physical need for each other is the catalyst to them setting aside their differences in order to find out the potential of their attraction. Absolutely loved this story! Both main characters grow and change as they pursue a relationship. They both are meant to support each other. They are truly two halves that belong together. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I thank the author for sharing a copy of the book with me.

Another entertaining and provocative must read from Laurelin Paige! Star Struck was enticing and sexually charged, with an enemies-to-lovers romance that was undeniably HOT! It's stories like this one that makes Laurelin's books one-of-a-kind. Not only do you get the "I hate you, but want you anyway" aspect from the story, but there are so many hidden and buried emotions that trigger the actions from both Seth and Heather. As much as both characters try to overcome their past, you realize that it's their said pasts that are controlling everything in their present and future. Their issues run deep, and it's only when they come together they begin to realize that they can have something special, something real. But with Hollywood literally in their back yard, these two need to learn to trust their feelings and each other. Otherwise they'll become another tragic Hollywood romance. Star Struck sizzles with lust, desire, and combustible attraction. The romance and intimacy explodes with passion that will leave you hot and sweaty. The character dynamic was very engaging, pulling you in right from the beginning...emotionally driven with all the feels. And as always, Laurelin's writing was phenomenal and you'll have a really hard time putting down this book.

Wow! I really really loved this story, the writing, the characters, (most especially our alpha lead Seth Rafferty). The whole book worked for me. Light hearted enemies to lovers (just) with some super sexy moments that had me blushing somewhat. When Seth meets Heather Wainright in the set of a 24 hour Play he thinks he's got her pegged, diva, to put it mildly. So why is he so drawn to her? Heather will not live up to the expectation of her father, she is not tailor trash and she will not associate herself with a manual labourer. Except they make each other feel something ‘more’, there’s a spark, a need, that only the other can fulfil. Can they both get beyond their pasts and learn to accept each other? Heather finally comes to terms with everything, sadly Seth is still trying to deal with his little untruth, is it going to snowball out of control? A great read that had me hooked from the first chapter. A fun, flirty read that I highly recommend. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I am lucky enough to be on Laurelin's ARC team and she never disappoints! In the follow up to Sex Symbol, this is the story of Heather and Seth. Heather is a headlining actress. She has the reputation of being a diva and full of herself. She meets Seth on the set, believing him to be part of the crew, and instantly sparks fly. But, she can't fraternize with the crew. Or can she? Seth is actually more than just a carpenter on set, but he won't divulge that little secret to Heather. He's drawn to her but she's so arrogant, it wouldn't be wise to act on his attraction to her. Insults fly as well as the sparks in this heart-felt story. I felt for both of them. Their pasts getting in their own way. There is humor, heartache, steam, and sometimes you just want to slap both of them and shake some sense in to them!! Several times, I found myself shaking my head at both Heather and Seth, but routing for them all the while. Loved this one!

Hollywood Diva, Heather Wainwright, is the Star of this show! This heartfelt, fun and sexy romance was a delight to read. Heather has a reputation for being a Hollywood Diva. She puts up thick walls to hide the secret she is so afraid to face. Seth Rafferty is a sexy, dominant, carpenter/production designer. He also has a past he is keeping secret. When Heather & Seth first meet they have instant attraction and the sparks fly. Then unfortunately Heather misunderstands who Seth really is and puts up her protective diva walls. Seth is both offended and turned on in equal measure by Heathers' attitude. Heather also has her conflicts with the sexy, dominant carpenter. Their chemistry is so feverish, they are helpless to stay away from each other. Their banter was their foreplay leading to some very steamy and fiery passion. They are so alike in many ways, wanting to be loved for who they are, and not for their past or their profession. When secrets come to light, will their love be enough to keep their hearts from breaking or will the lies be just too much? I really liked both Heather & Seth, they were so perfect for each other, making the other a better person. I thought their vulnerability, and flaws were authentic and their growth honest. I loved Heather's assistant, Lexie, she was so loyal and funny and her devotion and support of Heather was brilliant. I really enjoyed this charming, heartfelt and sexy romance!

Hiding from her past, Hollywood diva Heather wanted nothing to do with the crews she worked with and even looked down on them. Seth is a production designer who has a past if his own. Sparks fly between them even though she thinks he's only a carpenter. As she battles and tries to hide what she considers the demons of her past, Seth embraces his but lies to Heather about his profession. He feels guilty about it but it just keeps snowballing. Once it comes to light, Heather wants nothing to do with him. Through her heartache

This book was good but not great. I almost put it down a couple of times but I pushed on. I almost put it down not because it was a bad book I just could not get into the storyline. Although I fell in love with Seth and Heather I felt that the way the book ending was short after all the build up. More needs to be said for these characters.
