this is a traditional mystery set on Vulcan, where many species come to study. The interplay of cultures is well done, but I liked seeing another side of Spock's world, especially his father as professor and colleague. In true Trek fashion, it examines issues and attitudes of today, in a far-off future on a far distant world. Sequel: The IDIC Epidemic. Read this one first.

A murder mystery with Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Learn more about the planet Vulcan. Fabulous references to many great episodes of Star Trek woven into the story. Highly recommended.

I'm not a wierd person or a trekee. I read these books because I can escape my daily life and visit with lifelong friends from Star Trek. This book was yet another fun read with lots of action and some suspense. This "who-done-it" book is a good way to travel to a far off place with friends and its filled with excitement and adventure. I am not a book critic and I don't know what is correct to say or not say in a review. I just want to say if you are like me and you enjoy Star Trek, I'm sure you would enjoy this book. Good Day....
