I was very disappointed in this book. The characters from sg1 seemed to be window dressing for a stand alone sci fi story. You can go pages without seeing a mention of one of our favorite characters. The free preview part is misleading as it is set in Stargate circumstances, but once it picks up, our characters are all but lost. and the ending is incredibly abrupt. If you want a stargate novel, I suggest you skip this one.

Had potential but the author knows nothing about "show don't tell". There is very little dialog at all within its 646 pages and even less between the members of SG-1. It is just boring page after page of a story without a purpose.
