It is a great book! Enchanting and wonderful taking. A captivating story with endearing characters that come alive. It is also a profound statement on diversity.

Wow!  What a great read.  A tale with endearing and inspiring characters and interesting storyline.  When picking a historical fiction novel, you're looking for key elements:  historical accuracy, a gripping g plot, and characters and events that reflected the time period.  Melaine offers all of that and more!  At just 16 years of age...Truly talented.  Must read

Well researched. In formative and entertaining. Intriguing weaving of fiction with fact. can't believe author is only 16. Excellent ready for all ages.

Stars of the Savanna is truly a captivating novel, with breathtaking scenery, lovable characters, and suspenseful storyline. It is a great page-turner. This is definitely the best novel I have read this year, and I would strongly recommend it!
