About the Author
Thomas L. Williams is the author of 20/20: IFDA’s Vision for the Future, a series of articles on design and the business of interior design, and has taught business practices for interior designers at Monterey Peninsula College. As a cofounder of Hale-Williams Interior Design, he has drawn on his years of experience with interior design firms to create seminars and multi-day classes for private schools. Williams, along with his business partner, Robert Hale, is the coauthor of Starting Your Career as an Interior Designer. He lives in Carmel, California.

The book, Starting Your Career as an Interior Designer by Robert K. Hale and Thomas L. Williams is so awesome! It will get you started and work long term into the career as an Interior Designer. If you always had a love for designing homes, combining styles, and putting them together then this is a book to check out! SOme information found inside would be how to build you game plan and with the help of case studies, you'll get an idea to what really helps and what doesn't seem to work as well. It has even guides for equipping your studio with the right programs and items to use. The best part is that it does help you figure out what software to include, which will help you in the long run and keep your eyes on everything from money to clients. I actually love the every steps found in this book to help you get started in this career. More inforamtion found inside will help you by choosing a design field, getting referals, promoting, branching out, market and positions, and so much more it's just something you can really use to get you started and understand what it takes to do so! Having it all in one book is what you get here and I really adore the helpful tips and easy to understand parts I need to take to get started and conitnue my career after it's established. It's a wonderful book and so helpful!
