Overview

Fate took Cassandra down a path she never expected.

Then a small town in Colorado gave her exactly what she needed—until tragedy left her heartbroken and devastated. Alone with only her child and her memories, Cassie struggled to put her life back together, one day at a time, piece by piece. Finding love again was something she never thought possible. That was, until she ran into an unlikely stranger who flipped her entire world on its axis.

Aidan had a secret locked away in his heart; one that would surely send Cassie running the second she discovered it. He held onto her closely and kept his secret guarded, but one careless mistake could reveal all.

Their friendship was strong, their moments beautiful, and the love that brewed between them intense—something neither denied. The only problem? Cassie was slowly letting him into her life. Could she let herself get close to the one person she didn’t think she should?

Her mind tells her to run, but her heart tells her to stay.

About the Author

B.A. Wolfe is a girl with a passion for reading and writing, and lives in the good ol’ state of Colorado with her husband (her biggest cheerleader), and her two crazy min pin fur babies. These days, her life is anything but calm, and there isn’t one thing she’d want to change. B.A. spends all her free time either furiously typing stories on her laptop or happily reading through her endless TBR on her Kindle. Her list of favorites would be long enough to fill a book, but most would likely fall under the romance category. She is a sucker for a good love story that makes her cry, and an amazing book boyfriend who will melt her heart.

I don't normally write reviews, but this I had to do. I never cried so hard reading "Away!" I was so upset that an author would do this. Then I read "Stay" and I thought "finally." But when she went into surgery and almost died, I thought"No," if she dies, I'd never read another book that you wrote. Thank you for not killing her off. It was the most beautiful stories I have ever read. Thank you for giving them a chance. I am an avid reader and these two books, I would read. I just can't read the one in Jason's words, be a use I don't want to cry like that. Even now, I'm trying to keep from sobbing. Keep up the good work, but please, only happy endings.

Whew. If you read "Away" and then continue on to "Stay," you will go on an emotional roller coaster worthy of the most exciting theme park. This story is so precious. Your heart will feel like it is literally breaking in half, only to be mended again and feel like it's going to fly right out of your chest. Love this series!!

Thank you so much for this sequel with a happy ending! I loved "Away", but was SO diappointed in the ending. So I had to read, "Stay". Toward the end, when it seemed like Cassie wouldn't make it, I was devastated! I thought it couldn't be happening again! LOL. Thanks for one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever read!!

This is a 2nd book in a series. Do not read this one first...Read; Away by B.A. Wolfe before you read this. Okay, now this book was just as emotional as the first, but what a great story. Again, B.A. Wolfe writes in a way that you can feel the emotions of every character. Did you love Moose in the first book? He's back and you can't help to wish you had a best friend just like him! I love this book just as much if not more then the first! Do yourself a favor and just read it! But read it after Away!!

Please consider reading the first book (it's free) Away before reading Stay. Stay is complete in and of itself but does continues the story. One reviewer wrote she cried a lot. I read Away and used half a box of tissues so I figured I knew where Stay was going and I would not need any. Wrong! Stay and Away are the two most emotional books I think I have ever read and I am a senior citizen. The stories are powerful any although fiction one can easily relate to the different challenges the characters faced. B.A. Wolf is a fantastic author as she draws the reader into the stories so easily. The story begins with Cassandra still not knowing what she will do. She remains estranged from her non-loving parents. Her best friend Mel is still by her side but she also remains in contact with Moose who befriended her and was a close friend of Jason. Enter Jason's brother Don- He didn't want to do what Jason requested but knew he could not turn his back on his brother's request. Don was still raw from his loss and not being accepted, or so he thought, by his family. The writing is powerful and the story will draw the reader in as easily as Away. I was sure I knew how it would end - wrong again. There are a few sex scenes and it also contains profanity but they do not dominate the pages. The story will also have the reader laughing some of the time; but, yes, tears will flow.

Wonderful book. At times I had to put it down just so I could compose myself. Several boxes of tissues are needed when reading.

I have read the both books. no complaint and I was not disappointed. I first cassy got on my nerves I thought she was a little whinny, but as the books went on you notice her changing/growing up. So many great characters in this book I love them all. I was so excited when second book came out, but then I was so sad cause I KNEW it was over. After I was done I felt like I moved away from a great group of people weird I know but I miss this book series.

Oh how I wish I could give more than 5 stars!  I must tell you that I loved Jason and Away broke my heart. But, when I met Aidan I fell in love. What a wonderful man you've given us, B.A.  This book took me on a cruise around the emotional world. I laughed; I raged; I swooned; I cried. Oh how I cried! I was a sniffling, sobbing mess through most of this story and I loved every second of it!  What an amazing story of grief, family, friendship and finding love when you think your heart just isn't capable. I truly found myself immersed in this story and wondered if it was based on someone's life. Definitely added to my favorites!

* I received an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. * I fell in love with Away by B.A. Wolfe and I wasn't sure that this book could top her first book, but it has. This book is an amazing journey where the reader is able to learn more about Cassie, Dan, Moose, and the gang. I felt like I was meeting up with friends that I hadn't seen in awhile, and when the book was finished, I wasn't ready to leave them. The author continued to develop the characters that we already knew and loved, and introduced us to a few more that the reader also couldn't help but fall in love with. The story starts off just where the last book stops and it is a seamless flow right into the heart of the book. The author describes Colorado perfectly and makes the reader feel as if they are there with the characters. The details are amazing and so easy to picture that the reader has no problems placing themselves right there. I love how the author did give some back story in case the reader hadn't read the first book, however, you should read the first book in order to fully capture everything from the second book. I love how Cassie's character developed and "grew" up, as well as how self-less she became. I love the dynamics between Cassie and Aiden (Dan), and who wouldn't love the way B.A. described Jase?!? This is a must read for anyone who loves the idea of love, the definition of true love and the way in which loves causes us to do amazing and unbelievable things. I highly recommend adding this as your second to read on your TBR list, with Away being the first thing on it! This author is phenomenal and will be going to places sooner rather than later! Make sure you check out her books, you won't be disappointed at all by either one of them! Enjoy, have some tissues ready and make sure there is plenty of time for you to read, as you won't want to put it down once you start!!

~~~RECEIVED FOR AN HONEST REVIEW~~~ This book is the 2nd in the series, highly recommend that you read the first before this one. But this will take you on an emotional ride. Too bad the readers couldn't dispense tissue for some of those tears! How can one overcome the past and the other keep the secrets concealed? Will it all be exposed. Will it be too much, too late? If you haven't read this yet, you're missing out!
Stay By B.A. Wolfe Summary: Fate took Cassandra down a path she never expected. Then a small town in Colorado gave her exactly what she needed—until tragedy left her heartbroken and devastated. Alone with only her child and her memories, Cassie struggled to put her life back together, one day at a time, piece by piece. Finding love again was something she never thought possible. That was, until she ran into an unlikely stranger who flipped her entire world on its axis. Aidan had a secret locked away in his heart; one that would surely send Cassie running the second she discovered it. He held onto her closely and kept his secret guarded, but one careless mistake could reveal all. Their friendship was strong, their moments beautiful, and the love that brewed between them intense—something neither denied. The only problem? Cassie was slowly letting him into her life. Could she let herself get close to the one person she didn’t think she should? Her mind tells her to run, but her heart tells her to stay. My Thoughts: Well B A Wolfe has done it again. I hope you all have your box of tissues handy when you dive into the next installment of the Keaton series! I wasn't exactly sure what to expect for this book. The last one destroyed me. Not many books bring me to tears but Away sure did. I couldn't even continue reading because I couldn't see through my own tears. I am happy to say that this book was all that and more. I loved seeing the gang again and getting to know Dan. I wasn't sure that anything could top the epic love between Jase and Cassie........ However I was DEAD wrong. Hold on to your hearts ladies and gents because this is one hell of a ride. "You're the one, Cassie. You're my sunshine after a storm, the moon that brightens the night sky, and my hand to hold so I'm not alone. You're all the things that bring me comfort. That makes me believe there's heaven on earth." I loved how Miss Wolfe brought these two together. How she made something a little bit wrong feel oh so right. I feel in love over and over with Dan. The way that he took care of his friends and family. How he took their pain and never told them he was doing it. He was selfless even when people thought he was selfish. There were some very profound lessons in this book. Ones that I need to take to heart. Cherish every moment you can.... Don't be afraid to love.... You don't always have to be strong.... Sometimes you need help and that is OKAY... Life is too short to hurt and hold grudges.... Live each day like its was your last and love even harder. These are just a few things that I took away from this story. I hope that reading this story opens your hearts and you can learn from it. "Cassandra, what you have to remember is that life is not about easy. It's about having someone to lean on and hold you through those hard times that mike it worth living." "when I said I needed you, I meant it. I need all of you, Aidan. I want all of you. Please, for the love of God, don't stop." This is a wonderful addition to the series. If you haven't read Away yet you NEED to. Once you finish start Stay immediately! You will not regret that you did. Thank you B.A. Wolfe for giving us this amazing and epic love story.
