I have to say this was one of the best books I've read this summer... I am now in love with this series. Our hero Caleb is Swoon-Worthy... Such a great guy for Hailey. There story is so sweet, he sees her at a party and is hooked, she sees him and is afraid...of her past and her future. Caleb and his friends were so like able and funny and smart and complicated, it just sucks you right into college life.

This book pulled me in from the start. I enjoyed Caleb and Hailey's first meeting and was anxious for things to unfold between them. I thought they had good interactions throughout the book and I loved their chemistry. Their conversations seemed playful and fun. Hailey grew so much and became more confident and I was rooting for her. I thought Caleb was pretty much the best guy ever - just an all around, good, solid guy. He was super sweet and I was intrigued by him but sometimes he seemed to good to be true. That wont stop him from being a book boyfriend though because I really liked him! I enjoyed the other characters as well. Daphne is a spitfire and I thought all of Caleb’s friends were interesting and had very distinct personalities. I hope Daphne and Nick get their own story. There was quite a bit of heat in this book but I didn’t think it was overly done or drawn out – and I mean that in a good way. I actually had a few *sigh* moments because some of it was just so sweet. I also liked the fact that it’s a real story and not one sex scene after another. This book had a good pace, I thought it was a fast read and had a nice build. I guessed at her secret (and was right!) and thought there would have been more drama and conflict surrounding it… it wrapped up a little to cleanly for me. That being said, I did like how that part ended because I wanted her to be happy. I also LOVED the ending – the part where she reveals her feelings was PERFECT! Well written. Great characters. This book is an excellent way to kick off a series. I loved everything just wished there would have been more drama. I will definitely continue on with the series. ARC provided fro an honest review This was such a sweet story! From the very beginning I was sucked into Caleb and Hailey’s story. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sweet love story to read. Hailey has been in the spotlight all her life and it’s something that she has started to despise. She just wants to be a normal 18 year old girl and have the same experiences any other girl would. So Hailey decides to leave the spotlight and go to college. However, when she made this decision, she never knew she would might the love of her life while she was there. Hailey meets the sexy and irresistible Caleb at her first college party. She’s instantly attracted to him, but her past with men has made her untrusting of the male species. She tries her hardest to stay away from him, but there is just something about him that keeps pulling her in. Once she starts to let Caleb in, she’s afraid he’ll leave once he finds out her dark secret that she’s kept hidden for years. Caleb is one hot and sexy beast. He has a heart of gold and is very protective of those he cares about. Once he sees Hailey, he has to know her. Not because she’s famous, but because he sees something more to her than that. He wants to know the real Hailey Bloom, not the one that the paparazzi show. After Hailey finally gives in to Caleb, they start one hot and steamy romance. Hailey opens up to him like she’s never opened up to anyone before. She feels safe and loved when ever she’s with him, and she cherishes every single moment. Her only fear is that once he finds out her secret, he’ll leave. Will Caleb be the amazing man that you come to love and stay with Hailey after her secret is revealed? Or will Hailey’s fear come true and he leaves her? This book was a quick and sweet read. Elyssa Patrick does a great job of connecting you to the character and makes you fall in love with every single one of them. I can’t wait to see what Elyssa has up next for this series!

Stay With Me is the first book in the With Me series. It revolves around a young woman named Hailey, who has just decided to walk away from fame. She wants to go to college and live a normal life. Being “normal” is tough for her though – everyone knows who she is. She has never gone to a regular school before and she is having a hard time keeping up with her classes. The tabloids are saying all kinds of bad things about her – thanks to her horrible mother. Life for her gets better once Caleb walks into it though. Hailey is instantly attracted to Caleb. She has been around all sorts of good looking famous men, but to her – Caleb is better looking than any of them. Also, Caleb doesn't seem to be interested in her only because of her fame. He genuinely seems to want to get to know her. Caleb is a great guy. He actually seems to good to be true. I think that if he was struggling with his own personal demons, or if he had a bad boy image, or something...then he would have been a more interesting character. Hailey has this big secret all through the book. The reader doesn't know this secret until the end and there's this big build up to it. She thinks everyone will hate her when they find out what happened. I was a little disappointed in the secret though. I thought it would be something more major. I'm not saying that what happened wasn't a big deal, I was just expecting more. The romance between Hailey and Caleb was sweet. The sex scenes were steamy. The book was just missing a little something. Some drama maybe? I don't know. Of course, I know a lot of readers like to keep things simple with no complicated drama – in that case, you would LOVE this book! I think that anyone who is a fan of New Adult romance should give this book a shot. What I really liked was the background characters. They definitely added interest to the story. I definitely want to read more about Daphne and Nick! I really can't wait to read the next book!

Stay With Me is a sweet and entertaining read about dealing with your past and finding your true self. Like any book, it had it's emotional ups and downs, but it was mostly a feel good type of read that left me with a case of the warm and fuzzies:) That being said it wasn't a literary masterpiece, but it was a really light and enjoyable read with no major flaws. It's about a girl who has been in the spotlight her whole life, and is finally breaking free to discover what she wants to do. Add in college, a green eyed hottie, and a secret from her past, and you've got the plot. "I aways felt on display-that I could never just be me because everyone wanted what they heard on the radio, saw on TV, or read about in the magazines." I really liked Hailey because she was so strong and kind, and wanted to find herself and become a better person, not just for her, but for those she cared about. She was easy to connect with and feel for, and she really grew as a person by the end of the book. "The shipwreck that was my life is sinking behind me, and I've been fighting toward something else, something different... something more." Caleb was so sweet and he made my heart melt, along with other things because phew *fans self* he is hot! "I let out a moan, and he captures it with his mouth. Carrying me away in a hot kiss that melts all the bones in my body and fries my brain." The side characters were all really fun and could potentially have their own stories, which I would definitely read. All of the characters were likable and had personality, which wasn't the case in one of the last books I read, so I was really happy about that. The writing was well done and made the book an easy read. There was a lot of good dialogue, both funny and steamy, and everything flowed really well. I also really liked the plot, we don't get many female rockstars/actresses, so that was a nice change of pace. "'Tauruses', I say, stirring my straw, 'are known to be stubborn. And they're very tactile.''I definitely like to touch...'-he smiles at me-'things.'" Overall, it was a really enjoyable book, and I'll be looking out for the next one. *Big thanks to Elyssa Patrick for sending me an ARC!*

Stay With Me is a fantastic new NA read. I had so much fun spending time in THE Hailey Bloom's world. Elyssa Patrick has created a charming cast of characters you can't help but root for. Her heroine is real and relatable, her hero is swoon-worthy, and the supporting cast provides comic relief and support, when needed. Ms. Patrick authentically captures the college experience -- from fun parties to awkward romantic encounters to new friendships and the constant fear of failure. I'm an admitted prude, and I admit I read some of the racier scenes with my hand over my eyes. ;) But for those wanting a fun, sweet, steamy NA read, Stay With Me won't disappoint. Brava!

Amazing, this book was just amazing. Wonderful read, mostly fluff, which is good sometimes. Doesn't really have the drama that you expect in most other New Adult books. Hailey's had enough of the fame. She enjoyed it when she was young, not fully understanding what it meant to be famous and everything that comes along with it. But she is forced into that life by her mother. She leaves that life, just wanting a normal one, one where she can be herself and not what everyone else wants her to be. She moves to moves far away from Hollywood and goes to college, to do what she wants to do. She isn't quite sure what that is yet, but she knows she wants to go to college. There is meets Celeb.  The two of them are drawn to each other right from the start, but Hailey is scared, scared because of how she has been used in her past to further someone else's career. Scared she will be just another story in the tabloids.  It takes sometime, but she eventually decides to trust Celeb and let herself go, and just be. Their romance is slow building at first, because Hailey is still scared, and its hard for her to trust someone else. When she does eventually decide to let it all go and just be herself, she finds she has found something she has been looking for for a long time. Love. This was such a wonderfully, brilliant book, and I can't wait for the next one to come out and she how things pan out for Celeb's friends. This book was provided to me for an honest review.

Just as many college students do, Hailey is starting the school year by attending her first college party where she meets Caleb Fox, a junior at Green College. Caleb is handsome, but not in the pretty boy kind, more like rough kid of way with inky black hair just little on the long slide, a strong nose with a slight bump (which may have been in a fight or two), firm jaw, firm lips, and dark rich forest green eyes you can get lost in. As Caleb and Hailey become closer, Hailey discovers Caleb’s friends are not only his friends but her as well. This book was fan-freaking-tastic! The characters were well written and I really liked the story line. It wasn't the usual bad boy type of musician book. The heroine (Hailey) was the musician/actor/dancer and the book actually focused on her finding herself without those things. She was strong and determined despite everything she had been through. However she does doubt herself and that's where the sexy and sweet Caleb comes into the picture. I loved how he didn't care if she was famous from day one and neither did his friends. There was an instant connection and phew those steamy sex scenes were HOT! *fans self* I found myself stopping whatever I was doing so I could pull out my tablet or smartphone to read what happened next in the book. I was totally wrapped up in what was going on with Caleb and Hailey. I even found myself desperate to know what was going on with some of the secondary characters. So, I was ecstatic to read that the other books in the series are about Caleb's friends. The story was engaging from the first line and I am counting down the days until I can read the next book in the series. December is too far away!!

3.5 Stars Elyssa Patrick’s Stay With Me was one that I enjoyed, but also didn’t get a lot out of. Hailey Bloom is the triple threat in Hollywood…or should I say was. She doesn’t want that life anymore and she decides to sever all connections. Hailey wants to go to college and prove that she is more than what Hollywood and her mother made her; that wasn’t who she wants to be. She wants to find out who she really is, but what she didn’t count on was Caleb. The sexy, friendly, caring, compassionate guy who flips her world upside down making her see and realize things she never thought were possible. Caleb is the guy that every girl wants. He saw Hailey for who she was, but is that enough for her? Will he still love her once he knows the worst thing about her that not even the paparazzi have yet to discover? Hailey doesn’t want to give Caleb her heart because she expects to get it back shattered. Elyssa does a fan-freaking-tastic job of writing her characters and putting them out there in all their awesome glory. There was not a character that I didn’t love or connect with. Even Hailey’s mother. I didn’t like her, but I really felt my disappointment in her. I was surprised by Hailey because she seems innocent and naïve and in some ways, she is. She has lived in the “Hollywood Bubble” all her life so she isn’t experienced how the world around her really is; she only has a perceived idea. But she is experienced in so many other ways and we see both sides of her.  The writing and flow is unique, one I haven’t dived into with other books. It threw me off at first, but I was surprised to find that even though it was choppy and segmented, it still flowed together and seemed to work well. The reason I didn’t give it a 4 or more? There wasn’t a ton of drama and conflict. Being an ex-Hollywood triple threat and with the mother Hailey is blessed with, I would have figured these two realms would materialize in her life continuously, making her life even more difficult, but there was hardly any of that drama leaking into her life. I also expected a fall-out with Caleb that would leave them both scrambling.  It wasn’t a book that got my heart rate spiked and blood boiling, but I did still like it for the simple love story of Hailey and Caleb and Hailey’s self-discovery. I will continue to read the other books in the With Me series and I cannot wait to read about Jaime, Nick, and Griff! (I received an ARC from the author via Netgalley for my honest review, and this is my honest-to-goodness, straight from the heart review!)

~Reviewed by ANN & posted at Under the Covers Book Blog As the first in a brand new New Adult series by Elyssa Patrick, we have a superstar heroine who tries to fight her attraction to the good guy, Caleb Fox. Hailey leaves Hollywood for college and this is where the story starts. What drew me to this novel was the fact that it was a NA. I needed a dose of angst but realized that this book isn’t very dark or angsty at all. I didn’t think Hailey’s problem was very big and therefore, I was a little disappointed in that. Along the same lines, Hailey’s personality faltered a little for me. I couldn’t understand why she thought she couldn’t be with Caleb at first. She was supposed to have a big persona because of her celebrity status, but I couldn’t find that star quality in her. Her character felt very subdued and while I didn’t hate her, I also didn’t find her particularly interesting either. Hailey didn’t have very much to complain about but she did it constantly anyways. I don’t know if the author meant for that to be the angst, but I don’t think it done well enough. As a result, I don’t think I really connected with her character as much as I thought. I am looking for the presence of good guy heroes in New Adult. Caleb is one of those guys. There are a lot of musicians/rockstar books out there, but they are usually the sexy, brooding hero. This time, we have a great hero who helps Hailey discover who she is. Caleb turned out to be one of my favorite characters in the book. The other character I liked turned out to be Daphne. I found her interesting and I think I’d like to see more of her. I might be persuaded to check out the next book in the series if I can get a little more angst. *ARC provided by Netgalley

This book melted my freaking heart to the core! Caleb Fox is one considerate and down to earth sweet heart who completely knocked Hailey (and me) off her feet. Even as she fights it she can't help but let him into her heart. When things get crazy, he's there, comforting and supporting her. He is dreamy and so are his friends! Plenty of times I've read books about the guy rock star and the normal every day girl. But, Stay With Me is about the girl rock star and the normal every day guy! Elyssa has mixed it up and what a phenomenal surprise it is! Thrown into the spotlight as a child and held there by a controlling parent, Hailey struggles to find herself in adulthood as she branches out on her own and finally does whatever she wants; which in this case is attend college. Hailey's mother is crazy! She's a horrible person and parent and I can't believe the crap she continues to put poor Hailey through. The only good thing her mother does is build up her strength to shut her out completely! On the opposite of the spectrum we have Caleb's family. A caring and strong unit that Hailey blends right into. His sisters were adorable and star struck, Elyssa couldn't have painted a better picture of them! My favorite member of the Fox household (besides Caleb) was Daphne (Hailey's new best friend and Caleb's younger sister) she was spunky and held her own secrets. Her relationship with one of Caleb's friends was an added bonus to the already great story!  Stay With Me is a terrific terrific read, one that I couldn't put down until the end. I felt so many feelings throughout the book, so many emotions, and so much to love! The words flow easily from page to page and the love story is powerful and consumed me completely!

Stay With Me is such a sweet story. It made me smile and it warmed my heart. And it delivered on all those elements I love so much about the New Adult genre. Hailey Bloom has been a celebrity since becoming the Gerber Baby. That launched a career in acting, singing/playing the guitar. Living in Hollywood, she grew up way too fast and at 18, she had a startling eiphany. She didn't want this life anymore. Actually, she didn't know if she ever did. So she defies her mother, whom has always pushed her in this life of celebrity, and her friends, whom she finds aren't truly friends, and heads to Vermont to attend college and more importantly, find herself. I really liked Hailey. She's a very strong young woman, which is evident in her surviving her celebrity life. But it's also evident in her leaving that life to figure out what she really wants. She's independent and has been for awhile but like anyone her age, she has moments when she wants someone else to take care of her, reassure her. I liked seeing the two sides of Hailey - the celebrity side who's confident and witty as well as the real Hailey, who's not quite as self-assured and trips over her words with Caleb. Caleb Fox *sigh* is incredible. From their first encounter, he steps in as Hailey's protector - but not in the typical hero way. By that I mean, he doesn't act like a caveman or treat her like a helpless girl. He sees something special in Hailey, herself, not the celebrity and he sets out to get to know her. One thing I love about Caleb is he unknowingly gives Hailey something she's never really had - stability. He's always there for her, always stands by her - shows her she's not alone. He's such a loyal guy! Oh, and ladies, he just made me swoon so often with some of the things he did with and for Hailey. Since this is the first in a series, we are also introduced to a colorful cast of characters. Ms. Patrick did an outstanding job of fleshing out these people while remaining true to the story she was telling. I adored Daphne, Caleb's younger sister (he actually has 3). She made this perfect best friend for Hailey in that they'd both experienced things no one their age should but it made them kindred spirits. They were both trying to figure it out - because their lives had kinds derailed. Then there are Caleb's roommates, Jamie and Nick, and their friends Griff, Kai and Dylan. We don't see Kai and Dylan too much but Jamie, Nick and Griff - well, I can't wait for their books. ;) They each stole a little piece of my heart. As for the drama, it was created with this secret Hailey had. A secret that, when revealed, she was certain everyone would hate her - particularly Caleb. I have to say that I was proud of how Caleb handled things when the secret was revealed. But I also have to admit to feeling kinda letdown by the secret. I didn't see it as quite the big deal Hailey thought it was. And I felt like everything was tidied up a bit too quickly and neatly. It didn't pack the emotional punch I thought it would. But now that I think about it, maybe it didn't bother me too much because, like Caleb, I'd gotten to know the real Hailey and understood she wasn't that person. Stay With Me was a feel-good read for me. I was pleased with how it ended and knowing I'll be seeing Hailey and Caleb in the future books makes it even better. And I eagerly await reading everyone else's story!  **I received an ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Eighteen year-old movie starlet Hailey Bloom takes a self imposed break from the fast pace of Hollywood. Jaded from years of fame, she leaves the celebrity lifestyle and enrolls as a Freshman at Green College in Vermont. Hailey tries to find the balance between normalcy and privacy - living off campus and protecting her privacy, yet attending classes and parties in search of new friends and a life more fulfilling that the one she left in LA. Early into her first semester, Hailey meets Caleb - a fellow student who focuses on their instant chemistry more than her fame. He is not interested in the Hailey Bloom, but rather the person he wants to know better. Hailey slowly lowers her defenses when she gains a circle of friends that includes Daphne, another Freshman who happens to be Caleb's sister. Her new independence, friendships and studies make Hailey thrive in this new environment, and it seems she may have had good reasons for starting over somewhere new. She struggles to stay in front of a secret that threatens to destroy the new life she has created. Elyssa Patrick tells a wonderful story of a young woman who wants a clean slate after a jaded childhood. You will cheer for Hailey as she navigates the social, emotional and academic waters of Green College. Her friendship with Daphne is honest and necessary, and her romance with Caleb is what dreams are made of. All the characters are the perfect mix of vulnerability and strength/ youth and maturity/ fearfulness and bravery. On the surface, this is a romantic coming-of-age story, but this duality is an underlying theme in Stay with Me. As Hailey discovers hidden talents and dreams of her own, she must walk away from notoriety and the power she gave others. This is an entertaining, tender story with surprises, humor and some white hot romance. The scenes are vivid, the characters are authentic and memorable, and the dialogue is witty and comical. It's an easy read and a good story. I am looking forward to upcoming titles in the "With Me" series by Elyssa Patrick.

I had the great pleasure of reading an advanced copy of Stay With Me. All I can say is WOW! Hailey Bloom has been in the spotlight since she was a baby and it took her losing herself to finally break free of that suffocating world. After she decides to enroll in college and make a life away from fame she has to fight her celebrity at every turn. She is stared at and talked about in her classes, her professors think very little of her and she refuses to enjoy the one thing she has excelled at in college.. art. Then she meets Caleb and her life is turned upside down once again. She wanted to do this on her own, but Caleb calls to her and their chemistry is magnetic. Stay With Me is a true coming of age story, with one difference. Instead of being stubborn and independent Hailey lets Caleb and his friends in and finds the family she has always wanted. Hailey discovers that she does not have go it alone and that one "breaking news" story will not send her new found friends, or Caleb, running. Stay with Me does not have that "cookie cutter" feel to it. You can tell that Ms. Patrick made this story her own and ended up with a book that will no doubt delight her readers. The secondary characters in this book are hilarious and I cannot wait for their books! Daphne, Nick, Griff, Kai, Jamie and Dylan are the perfect comedic relief to counter Hailey and Caleb's romantic pull. This book did not have the typical "break-up get back together" trope. I get a little exhausted with the huge secret reveal and then there is this obstacle to overcome. These kids are in college and on the verge of adulthood, and Ms. Patrick did a wonderful job of showing their maturity and still writing a wonderful story that I could not put down! Don't misunderstand though, they are in college and there is plenty of college fun to be had by all :) Caleb teaches Hailey how to be a non-celebrity and enjoy the life she has wanted to live all along. Hailey, with one minor two second exception, is a strong-willed character that refuses to let the drama of her mother or the rest of Hollywood get to her. She is determined to complete college and prove everyone else wrong, but she also learns to enjoy the experience as well. Stay with Me has the humor, drama, love and hotness that will have readers flocking to it. If you have fallen in love with the New Adult genre Stay With Me is a fantastic addition, and if you haven't it would be a perfect beginning. Stay With Me is available NOW. *ARC provided by Net Galley in exchange for an honest review*

(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to Elyssa Patrick and Netgalley.) 18-year-old Hailey is a famous singer/actress, but she’s taking a break for a while and going to college, where she meets Caleb. Slowly they fall in love, but will Caleb still love her when he finds out about all the things she has done in the past? Can he look past her mistakes and still love her for who she really is inside? And will he stay with her? This was an okay NA contemporary romance, but I just couldn’t get into it. I don’t know what it was about this one, but right from the beginning it just wasn’t doing it for me, I didn’t connect with the characters, I didn’t really care what happened to them, and certain things just annoyed me. The first thing to annoy me was a scene where Hailey was carrying a drink and some shopping bags, she bumps into Caleb, spilling her drink all down herself, and he offers to take her to his place, which is right around the corner, so that she can clean up, and get a fresh shirt. I don’t know if this sounds familiar to anyone else, but this is almost exactly the same as a scene from Notting Hill, where oh yes, Julia Roberts is a famous movie star, and bumps into Hugh Grant in the street. I mean, yes, I might have seen this film more than once, but it just annoyed me how similar the two scenes were! I was just waiting for a weird roommate to come in and start eating mayonnaise thinking it was yogurt. Anyway, this annoyed me, so I put the book down and read something else, because that way I can sometimes get past the thing that was annoying me, and enjoy the rest of the book. Unfortunately though, the rest of the book wasn’t much of an improvement. I got annoyed at the way Hailey moaned about not wanting to be famous, and not knowing what she really wanted to do with her life. Well join the club love, you are not the only one to not know what they want to do with their life, but you are in the coveted position of having millions of dollars in the bank to give you the backing to do whatever the hell you want. Please stop moaning about how you’re a poor, misunderstood pop star, there are plenty of people who’d be happy to take your place. This was an erotic story, and there were a few fairly explicit sex scenes in the second half of the book. These were okay, and there did seem to be some love between Hailey and Caleb, but I just didn’t feel it. For me the whole thing just dragged, I didn’t like the dialogue, I couldn’t connect with the characters, and I didn’t really appreciate the use of fruit to describe the characters sexual organs, I will never look at a plum quite the same way again. The ending was okay, and was fairly happy, even though Hailey still hadn’t decided what to do with her life, but again I just couldn’t really connect with the characters and so didn’t really care all that much. Overall; it might just be wrong person, wrong book, but this just didn’t do it for me. 4.5 out of 10.
