I'm not married, but one day I hope to be. Reading this book has shifted my paradigm of thinking (in a good way) about marriage and relationships. I found the transparency with which Ted & Charity shared both their high points and their struggles to be refreshing and encouraging. I love their commitment to unrelenting honesty and their openness in communication - even with those things that are normally hard to talk about. The book has a good mix of humor, real-life struggles, and sometimes raw stories, and practical ways to grow in love and trust. As a single person, I will take the things Ted & Charity shared in this book and apply them to my own relationships ... and someday to my marriage as well. I especially appreciate the intentional and proactive approach to building each other up and encouraging each other's growth and success that the authors share. This is a great and enjoyable read, I couldn't put it down!

Staying I Do is an easy to read and entertaining guide for couples at any stage. It could help foster a great beginning for engaged couples and newlyweds. It also offers a boost of hope and inspiration for those further along in their marriage. The authors share stories that most couples can relate to. I enjoyed the honesty and humor they put into their commentaries.

Staying I do is a great read for navigating any part of marriage, and also great for engaged couples. So many people spend so much time preparing the wedding which lasts one day and do very little marriage "prep". In this book Ted and Charity are very real, genuine and authentic about the ups and downs most every marriage will face. They share their real life examples in various areas that all marriages will face at some point. I personally think this should be required reading for anyone planning on getting married. It is much needed reading for those wanting to navigate the "curves" of no matter the number of anniversaries. Treat yourself to a great read.
