I loved this book from page one! Nina Levine wrote an amazing story, with characters that were relatable and had great depth. The story line flowed smoothly and kept me engaged throughout the entire book. Steal My Breath stole my breath away while reading it!

Holy cow!!!!! I could not stop once I started. It is true not everything is as it seems! WOW just WOW! I went from meltdown over Luke's bossiness to laughing at Callie and A's banter. I felt my stomach clench at some parts of the book....I got happy, sad and mad all in the space of a few hours reading this! Nina has done it again. This is a must read. Luke and Callie's relationship is not predictable or boring at all. There are so many twists and turns in this one. I loved how it kept me guessing. I'm always trying to figure out who did what and how it's going to end - didn't have a clue on this one....well I did narrow it down to 2 of whodunit! :)

Callie and Luke met at the bar that his father left him; they have known each other for a year. Luke watched Callie from afar as she kept meeting up with all these internet dates, until Luke took control. Callie just wants someone to love her. Luke is separated from his wife and his divorce isn’t final yet which hinders their relationship. They want each other so badly but Callie will not be accused of being a homewrecker. So, it is really nice to see how they continue their relationship with flirting and dating until it becomes to much for them and they explode with passion. I would have loved to be a character in this book and watch their love blossom as they face one turmoil after another. Could do without all the F bombs but I really liked the book. I have quickly fallen in love with everything Nina has written and Steal My Breath was just as beautiful as all that has come before. Having read the Storm series, my first impression was that while our main man, Luke, is a tough looking bar owning kinda guy, we never see any glimpse of that harder side I've come to expect from Nina's main men. Luke is a good man, educated, responsible and down to earth. Callie is kindhearted, intelligent and has a good head on her shoulders and knows what she wants. Nina has once again created characters you can't help but fall in love with throughout this beautiful story... HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended book & author!!

"Nothing worth having comes easy. It's such a throwaway line these days, but it's probably one of the most important notions in life." Luke and Callie just don't have it easy when it comes to the relationship they want and deserve. Both characters have strong beliefs in family, life and love that create tension for them to reach their HEA. Ms Levine keeps the reader firmly immersed in the relationship building of the characters through dual POV. It's easy to side or understand the Hero and heroine's action as the reader takes the journey . This is a first time read for me for Nina Levine. Her storyline themes are interesting and exploration of character are depth diving that it won't be my last. I wise mentor said, "Review the book you read, not the book you wanted to read." This is where I struggle. I really try to not allow expectations color my review. In the case of Steal My Breath it has. I don't want to reveal where I struggled with the story as it will need to contain spoilers. I will leave it at reader preference as there were a few plot points I felt unfinished or rushed. Those who follow me know I'm a voracious reader who gobbles stories I love in under 1 day. I believe that some people will absolutely love the in-depth, push-pull relationship pace of this novel. If you are that reader, I'd recommend this read. 3.5 stars out of 5

Lovable Luke The title of this book is definitely worth its wait in gold. Everything between the pages will steal you breath, heart and emotions for how good it is. Callie is a heroine that makes you feel good when reading she blunt and too the point honest. She's internet dating and can't seem to find one that will stick. When in honesty the man she wants the lovable Luke Hardy feels the same way she does but its complicated. Luke is Alpha down to his growly voice and cottony shirts and trust me you start to hear it in your head as your reading I know I did. He's going thru a situation which prevents him from fully being with Callie. A new job finds her having to chooses between what she wants and whats right a decision which will tilt her world on is axis. This wonderful journey that Nina takes you on is enchanting along with being breathtakingly beautiful. The characters are a breath of fresh air, the story was original and the way it was delivered was divine. This tale will leaving you begging for more with all the twists and turns but its well worth a read.

This book didn’t start off great for me but by the end, I really enjoyed it. It’s a bit controversial in some things at the beginning but once I knew the back story and how the relationship was to proceed, I was able to get past my initial sour feelings and get into the story (it didn't take long to get to this point). It’s a complex story with a bit of suspense that keeps you thinking. It’s also a rather unique plot and to me, that’s refreshing! I really like Callie; she’s strong, independent always stays true to herself and is just looking for love…preferably from the man she’s been crushing on for months. Luke is a moody alpha who keeps his secrets to himself until he feels a connection to someone worth sharing with…the connection he feels with Callie. They are such a good match for each other! Another great story from Nina Levine!!
