Love may be just a game, but the baseball players in Jennifer Seasons' sexy diamonds and dugouts series— they're playing for keeps!

Mark Cutter has it all: a lucrative baseball career, fast cars, and faster women—and all thanks to his priceless good luck charm. At least, that's what he thinks before Lorelei Littleton shows up. Next thing he knows, he's waking up alone, the sexy brunette has vanished, and his good luck charm is gone. More than a little curious about the wicked-hot cat burglar and determined to get his property back, Mark's going to track down the thief and make her pay—big time.

Maybe Lorelei feels a tiny bit guilty for stealing Mark's good luck charm, but when it's worth $100,000 and the money could save her niece's life? She's not losing sleep over it . . . but him? Lorelei can't get the ballplayer with the bad attitude out of her head. And now he's come after her with more than just revenge in his eyes. Lorelei has a choice: turn over the charm and lose the money, or keep it and risk losing everything . . . including her heart.

Editorial Reviews

“an excellent debut novel...a must read for fans of contemporary romance.”
Candis Terry
“Witty, entertaining…a delightful read!”
Romantic Times BOOKclub
“Riddled with sexual tension!”
Library Journal
Lorelei Littleton thinks that major league baseball catcher Mark Cutter is just another overindulged, superrich ballplayer who cheated on his ex-wife and deserves a little payback. And she desperately needs the $100,000 his ex is going to pay her to finance her niece’s open heart surgery. But Mark’s ex is the cheating liar, and his past isn’t any more privileged than Lorelei’s. He just has major league talent that’s taken him to some very high places, like being the star of Denver’s baseball team. Yet when Mark meets Lorelei as she seduces and robs him, he discovers that he wants something real, and Lorelei, along with whatever reasons she is hiding for her deception, just might be it.

Verdict This sports romance is based on a series of classic “misunderstandammits” because neither party trusts the other—and with good reason. But they have seriously hot chemistry from their very first meeting, and it keeps this enemies-into-friends story cooking as they slowly reveal their vulnerabilities. Just in time for baseball season; if you like the “boys of summer,” you’ll root for these two finally to make it “home.”—Marlene Harris, Seattle P.L.

If youre not actually reviewing the book just complaining about another review be it a spoiler or another kind you actually bring down the entirw review by only leaving ONE STAR. Thats not fair to the author. So if you must complain and its everyones right to do ao, at least leave 2 or 3 stars. Now I actually enjoyed this book, it was a fun sexy read and have added the other 2 to my wish list. Always happy to find a new author to add to my list!

This was a great written book. Not too much baseball, or sex just the right combination. The plot itself was a little off the wall but it all worked. I couldnt put it down. I always hate too much blah blah blah this writing kept it going and interesting the whole time. Cant wait for the series to continue.

With a first book like this you will go along ways. Very intertaining. Women who love sports or love the men who play them will love this story. Has wonderful surprises and loved the way your heroine gets her family taken care of. Well done Jennifer. Your fans in Bakersfield, CA love it!!

This story has a very sexual story line that doen't shy away from details. This isn't a story for young readers.

Good steamy scenes, that are realistc and believable but overall not a great read. Theres a lot of descriptive text rather than dialogue and I prefer dialogue over descriptive text.

Muddled plot, inconsistent characters, awkward dialogue, and the basic theme is morally reprehensible.

What can I say, when you have a baseball player, catcher to be specific, dirty talk and sex, you pretty much have me hooked. This book had my attention from the start and I couldn't put it down till I found out what happened. I could understand why the main character were doing what they were doing even though if it was something I probably wouldn't have done myself. I was so glad for an epilogue but wish it gone into a little more detail about certain things. I will definitely be checking the other books in this series!

Foul language and explicit sexual content with no relative value, but detracted from the story .

I enjoyed Lorelei and Mark's story. Desperation sometimes makes people do things they would never do. Lorelei has a lot on her mind before the complication of sexual attraction throws fuel into the fire. Well done, fun read. 249 pages

I wouldn't say this is a bad book, it's just really drawn out. Once I found myself skipping around I just stopped. The characters were not consistant and the issues went away and then all of a sudden reappeared. It was lacking flow. Honestly I wouldnt reccomend it. I read a lot and push myself to finish everything I read. This was the first in a while where I just didn't care.

Best baseball themed romance I've read! It's been a long time since I have enjoyed a book as much as I did Stealing Home. Everything about this book just worked for me. The plot, the characters, the romance, the humor. Even the conflict was well done and added another layer to this fun romance. Lorelei is a heroine you can identify with. She's blue collar and she's got a small family she's trying to protect. Her niece suffers from a heart defect and will die without a life saving heart surgery. When she's approached by a crazy ex wife to steal a good luck charm in exchange for the money she jumps at the chance. Mark is one of those slutty womanizing heroes you want to hate but just can't. He's made his money playing baseball and even though he looks calm and collected on the outside, he's hiding a secret about himself he refuses to let anyone know about. So Lorelei tries to steal his necklace but Mark turns the tables on her when he basically holds her prisoner until he gets it back. Spending so much time together can only lead to one thing and the chemistry that ignites little by little between them, is scorching!  Lorelei and Mark have a Lucy/Desi feel. She would get into pickles and he would be there to tease her about it. I absolutely loved and enjoyed the humor that Mark and Lorelei displayed throughout. They had a great back and forth that just felt incredibly natural. I was surprised by how much depth there was with both characters because I just thought I was getting into a fun romance. I fell for these flawed characters who make hotheaded decisions and piss each other off. Lorelei was the kind of female who despised people with money who don't know what it means to struggle but at the same time she falls for Mark who has tons of it and her self loathing about her feelings was something I could connect with. Mark was charming and self assured until his truth comes out and you find out he has his own internal struggles that make him feel worthless at times and vows to never let another woman treat him as such. I wanted to dislike Mark but he made it impossible for me. Secondary characters are usually hit or miss with me but I found myself enjoying the other players and their relation to the story and can't wait to see how their arcs turn out. One of the main characters who stole my focus was Lorelei's brother Logan. The heartbreak of his loss and the struggle to help his daughter really tugged at my heart and has me hoping he'll get a book. I haven't started looking into the rest of the books yet but after falling in love with STEALING HOME I'm basically putty in Season's hands right now. This one one of the best Baseball themed romance novels I have read and I'm looking forward to more great stories from this author.
