I love this book. The best couples start of as friends first. Stern was so use to Jovonnie "JoJo" Jones being his friend that he failed to notice her as a woman. The perfect woman for him and he almost missed her by being caught up in a bunch of women that could warm his bed but not his heart. JoJo a woman who has yet to give herself to a man gets a makeover and decides she is ready to go on a date and maybe for a little more. Believing that Stern wants her because of her new look she sets out to make him jealous and it works. These two friend were meant to be lovers and so much more. For Stern and JoJo falling in love with each other was like two people knowing each others flaws but loving them anyway. Love triumphs over all. First friends then so much more and I would not have had it any other way. I give this book 5 stars it's a must read.

You can never get enough of the Westmorland men. Great family series. If you start with this book you will definitely have to backtrack to read the others. A Westmoreland man may be a little slow with women but once they figure it out they fall hard.

Stern Westmoreland has a best friend named Jovonnie "JoJo" Jones and they have been such since they were young children.  They have shared everything and when JoJo wants to change, she asks him to help her with a makeover so she would be attractive to a man she has set her sights on.  This sparks something in him and he realizes he is attracted to her. Now, we get to see if they will become more than friends.  Mrs. Jackson wrote another one that was an awesome read.

Liked the charactors of JoJo and Stern, but hard to believe the plot of being friends that long and then "suddenly" realize they are in love. However, I really liked the game of Simon says. That was very original and added to the story. Good thinking, Brenda.

Ms. Jackson has done it again - all her books about the Westmorelands hold me and I have a hard time putting them down. Love, love, love reading about the many members of this family and what they are willing to do to get the love of their life.

Brenda Jackson is at it again with another Westmoreland. In this book Stern Westmoreland and Jovonnie “JoJo” Jones have been best friends since middle school and will do anything for each other, but Stern has an issue with one request that JoJo is asking him to help her with. JoJo realizes that she is in love with Stern, but is afraid to tell him how she truly feels. Stern is determined to show JoJo that they can be lovers and best friends as well. In this book Brenda Jackson had to show Stern and JoJo that they are very compatible and despite them being best friends they can be lovers. This book will have you laughing and show that the Westmoreland Men go for what they want and will not stop until they have their true love in their lives.
