Great She was running from a bad guy that hurt her. He lived the life of hard knocks and was still swinging. Jade ran into Colt and he was the best thing for her. She softened him a little. He made her feel protective.

I really liked this book and am on my way to read the next! Even though I liked this book I really would have liked to see a little less trust from the main heroine...I've never met an abused spouse that doesn't have trust issues or flinch when the opposite sex raises their hand. But I did enjoy the book it was great, good job. Ready for Hunter and Slade's stories!!!

I really liked this book for the most part and having read Tess Oliver's work before, I kind of knew what to expect. The Stone brothers were all those delicious bad boys who make every female essentially just drop their drawers and grown men cower in fear when they walk into a room. The story was exciting, sexy and full of action but with a not-too original storyline (pretty girl is running from her abusive rich boyfriend) and you could predict what would happen next. There were a few things that didn't sit right with me such as these hot, strong, well-liked men around town who post a competition on Facebook that is more suitable for teenagers than grown-up "tatted bad boys" and the way guys say they want a woman so bad, but then flaunt their other conquests in front of the woman they desire. I figure the next books will be about the other two brothers and I would still read them even though I had a few issues with the childish behavior of these bad boys in this first book.
