## TERRIBLE. Omg, this was excruciating. The guy is so hung up on the dead girlfriend/baby, there's no way he could be with the heroine. Chapters and chapters of grieving, self loathing, and dispair. Why would anyone want to read this type of story? She's always going to be compaired to the dead girl. I am so mad I wasted my money on this depressing book.

This is book 3 in the Elite Forces Series and these books just keep getting better and better. I started reading and there was no stopping me til I finished. This is a story of loss and heartache and I found myself shedding some tears for Beau after all how do you come back from losing not only the love of your life but your unborn child as well. He is consumed with guilt and the last thing he needs is a woman in his life especially when that woman is your boss and best friends sister. Emmy gave him just what he needed a lot of hot sex but they both started feeling more than they should. Will she be able to help him or will the past haunt him forever... This book has some fantastic friendships that are tested to the limits and it's a rollercoaster of emotions. I love the authors style of writing and together they are perfection. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

This is the third book in the Elite Forces series and is about Beau Harris and his rocky path back to the land of the living. What can I say? I loved it.This series seems to get better and better. I never saw it coming and I will say I was totally devastated. I had to re read it twice, I couldn't believe you went there. What a roller-coaster of a ride; so many emotions were evoked whilst reading Stone. I will admit that I cried, this book was heartbreaking at times; such pain and loss. This is such a hard review to write as I do not want to give away any spoilers. I was on the edge of my seat and I read this book in almost one read. I just didn’t want to put it down; I had to know what happened! The continuity between the authors was seamless. I have no idea who wrote which part and honestly, it doesn’t matter. It was fantastic from start to finish. This has fast become one of my favourite series this and I am anxiously awaiting the next book in the series.

This is book 3 of the Elite series, all 3 are written by both Authors seamlessly. This book has much more emotion than the first two. Beau 'Stone' has been through so much.. he is damaged. You will be empathetic for him and wish that you could wrap him in your arms and give him a comforting hug. This story is a reminder, that everything happens in it's own time, in it's own way.. no matter how heartbreaking that may be. I loved this book, the extreme responses to the situations thrown at us, just made it better!! I'm ready for book 4.

Captain Beau Harris—call name Stone—is a special forces weapon of destruction. He’s one of a very special team of highly trained ops specialists. When Beau suffers an unimaginable tragedy, his best friends Jade and Kaleb try offer support and be there for him. Beau is inconsolable, and wants nothing to do with living. Emmy is Kaleb’s sister and med school student. Due to some run ins with very dangerous enemies to Kaleb and his ops team (don’t want to give spoilers if you haven’t read Ice and Fire), she and her mother are living on Kaleb and Jade’s compound. Emmy has been hiding the little crush she has on Beau, but that’s getting harder to do the longer she’s around him. Emmy doesn’t know the whole story about Beau, but she knows he’s hurting, and has all but given up trying to get past his grief. Beau is fine being in his funk. He knows his friends want to help him work through his feelings, but after feeling this way for several months, he just wants to be left alone. Unexpectedly, he notices Emmy. She’s beautiful, and kind---and hot! Beau feels guilty about his attraction to Emmy, but that doesn’t stop the chemistry between them. Once those sparks fly—it’s a dirty, dirty coming together for these two! Now, back to why Beau is grieving. Forces conspire to continue their destruction, and the team must band together to keep everyone safe. There are surprises galore in this book, and once you start it, you won’t be able to put it down. This book had me totally shocked from the beginning, and it just got better. This story of love, loss, and possible love again had me sad, happy, cracking up laughing, pissed, and excited. I don’t know how they did it, but Hilary and Kathy squeezed my heart so hard with this book. You get to see what the guys from the first two books in this series are up to. Stone is book 3 in the Elite Forces Series, and I can’t wait for what these ladies have coming up next. I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 5 stars.
