I loved this book! I loved the realness that was this book and the smile it put on my face. I felt it was a quick read for an “experienced” parent. After each section, there was a spot to “Stop and Smell Your Children” and then there were thought provoking questions. I felt if you were a newer parent or less experienced parent, the questions were fitting. Being a 3rd time mom with 21+ years experience with kids, I didn’t feel the questions were all that fitting to me so I just skipped over them. Besides, I couldn’t wait to get to the next story. I loved how real the stories were. They were real life. They weren’t horrific or scary or all hearts and flowers. They were real. And they absolutely put a smile on my face. I have to tell you, the day I picked this up to start reading was one of the worst days I had had in a long time. Crawling into bed with this book though was so much fun! I really enjoyed it and will definitely read it again in the future. It would also make a fabulous gift!!
