About the Author
The guidance of goat raiser and author Jerry Belanger has been indispensible to new goat owners for many years, for he has been raising goats since the 1950s. He has written many books including Storey’s Guide to Raising Dairy Goats. Belanger is the former editor and publisher of Countryside & Small Stock Journal, and lives in Wisconsin with his wife.
Sara Thomson Bredesen is the coauthor of Storey’s Guide to Raising Dairy Goats and a licensed cheese maker and goat cheese promoter. A life member of the American Dairy Goat Association and an active member of the Wisconsin Dairy Goat Association for more than 30 years, she was the owner and operator of one of Wisconsin’s first goat cheese farmsteads.

Great basic overview into goats. If you do bring home goats this book should be on your shelf but also more goat healthcare related books.
his is an excellent book for anyone with goats, especially anyone starting to raise goats. It covers everything necessary for one to raise and keep healthy goats. It is a well written book and easy to understand. It is a great reference and a good book to have handy
I was a little surprised. I thought I was ordering a paperback book so I was waiting for it to arrive. Then I found it on my hand held. Otherwise I am really happy with the book.
