Storybook Advent is a collaborative effort between writer, journalist and philanthropist Laura D. Lewis and composer, lyricist and musician Michael Brech. The book and music were created on two continents, North American and Europe. LEWIS: Born in Rochester New York, raised, baptized and confirmed in the Missouri Synod and Evangelical Lutheran church, Miss Lewis attended a private Catholic high school in South America and continues to pursue her faith from several angles. Miss Lewis has worked in various capacities within the media, both electronic and print. Artist, marketer, business owner and writer, the past ten years have been spent working on increasing understanding between Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Through her work, Miss Lewis has spent time living in the Middle East and the UK. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

BRECH: Born in Rochford, Essex - England - Michael lived most his life in Southend-on-Sea before moving to the Devon countryside.
A composer, songwriter, lyricist, arranger, much of his early musical life revolved around playing in rock bands in Essex and London.
As well as having a musical staged he has also been involved with writing for film. The latest project was scoring the film 'Side by Side' for Sharpstick Productions. The film documents the peaceful cohabitation of Arabs and Jews in Neve Shalom and Haifa, and is currently playing in religious establishments throughout the UK.
In addition, Michael has recently completed several adventurous choral pieces based on Biblical verse as well as an evocative setting of the classic Parce Mihi, Domine for solo Countertenor and Choir, combining both Latin and English texts.
