Stranger In My Arms by Rochelle Alers

Orphaned at birth and shuttled between foster homes, CIA agent Merrick Grayslake has made a practice of not letting anyone get close to him. But he finds that his emotions are at risk when he is introduced to Alexandra Cole.

It has been all work and not enough play for Alex. And what little social life she's had has been on hold for a year while she completes her graduate degree. But her ordinary everyday life changes from the moment she meets Merrick Grayslake.

Because of its creatively developed characters and unique plot, I truly enjoyed this novel. It does have some suspense in the novel, but it doesn't take away from the SPICE of the romance. In fact, it is the mystery of Merrick that makes him so intriguing. Well done!

Rochelle Alers has created a tremendous following with her stories of the Coles. She shows their passion and underlying love for each other in each story. Each is unique in their own way. I also like how she incorporates small details from one book to the other when they are happening almost at during the same time frame. Alexandria and Merrick are no exception. Typing the stories with small details from one to the other makes you go back to read the correspondencing book. You will not be able to put this book down and is a good re-read. I love the way she writes!

I wondered when I would ge another Cole family fix. I loved Alexandra & Merrick's story. She was a very strong woman like her grandmother Magurite. I liked how she incorporated Cordero in the story. I know Ana & Jason are going to have there story. I can't wait.
