Overview

In his debut novel, "REICHOLD STREET," author R.L. Herron created a powerful coming-of-age tale that dealt with tough issues of family dysfunction, bullying, alcoholism, madness and war. Reviewed favorably by Kirkus Reviews, it won a 2012 Readers' Favorite Gold Medal.

In "ONE WAY STREET," the suspense-filled 5-Star sequel, he followed several of the same characters through the war in Vietnam, depression, love and a murderous stalker.

In the electrifying thriller, "STREET LIGHT," the third book of the series, the characters discover not all evil is found in war. Some of it walks on the streets of home.

About the Author

R. L. Herron has lived most of his life in Michigan. A National Merit Scholar, he received a degree from Wayne State University (Monteith College) and an MBA from Michigan State. He once worked for some of the world's largest advertising agencies, and enjoyed a long career in public relations and marketing with a Fortune 10 company. Non-fiction publications produced during his career were recognized with several awards, including Gold, Silver and Bronze from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

However, writing fiction was always his secret passion. He submitted his first story while still in high school. He is the author of seven books of fiction, winning Readers' Favorite Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. “Street Light” (June 2015) continues his award-winning “Reichold Street” series.
