Bachrach and Egstrom provide a thorough treatment of stress, anxiety and panic in diving, and provide a bounty of useful information for divers of all levels. This is a serious book for serious divers, and should be considered required reading for instructors and other professionals in the industry who need a detailed understanding of the subject.

An examination of the aspects of stress which affect every diver each time he goes under water. Presented in an easy-to-follow systematic manner and usable as a guide or text for teaching or evaluating fellow divers. Humor is intespersed with the latest documented research in diving, medicine, education and stress prevention to assist divers, physicians and educators who examine and or train commercial and sport divers.

Diver stress and panic are important considerations in scuba diving and instruction. This book was invaluable to me in my scuba classes, I recommend this book to all scuba instructors or students.
