Kate Paletto runs a volunteer program in Belize for Artists for International Aid, where she deals with self-centered artists who use the program as a means to repair their marred reputations. She loves the country, the people, and what AIA stands for, but too many diva volunteers have turned her off to press-seeking celebrities altogether and left her questioning the value of the volunteer program. When she meets incredibly handsome and charming Sage, he stirs emotions she hasn't felt for ages, even though he represents the things she despises.
Laid-back artist Sage Remington escapes his wealthy lifestyle in the Big Apple for a two-week journey of self-discovery to figure out how a guy who has so much can feel so empty. When he meets ultra-organized Kate, who lives her life the way he's always dreamed of living his, the attraction is too hot to ignore, but Sage is there to figure out what's missing in his life, not to find a woman.
Every look, and every late-night chat in the romantic jungle brings them closer together, but Sage can barely think past stripping away Kate's misconceptions about him. Kate fights him every step of the way--even though she finds it hard to ignore the strikingly handsome, generous-to-a-fault artist who wants to do nothing more than right the wrongs of the world--and love her to the ends of the earth.

4.7 Star Review - Stroke Of Love Sage is on a journey of self discovery. Can he set aside his lifestyle and truly get to know Kate? Kate is tired of diva volunteers. She wonders if the volenteering is even worth putting up with all the divas. The story was full of sweet moments but still a steamy love story. Definitely worth the time to read. Can I just say I love Sage's name... Can't wait for the next story in this series.

Another great book by Melissa. Sage Remington knows something is missing in his life. He just doesn’t know what it is. Seeking an escape from New York City and the perpetual feeling of being lost, he joins a group providing humanitarian aid to a remote, impoverished village in Belize. Sage stumbles upon the very thing to give him hope – love. Kate Parello knows better than to put any faith in the volunteers that show up at the village several times a year. They are rich, spoiled and never interested in the charitable work they’ve signed up to do. A few photo ops with a smiling kid, holding a paint brush just long enough for the flash to go off and pretending they care is about all she will get out of them. So when a rich and famous artist steps off the bus she knows better than to get involved with him. Only he is different than the rest, no matter what she tells herself and when he puts his heart into bettering the lives of the villagers, he opens a piece of Kate’s heart as well. The chemistry between them is undeniable. The romance develops quickly as their time together in Belize is rather short but it somehow seems perfectly paced and not so much instant infatuation as something believable and real. **CONTENT WARNING: Due to mature content, recommended for readers aged 18+**

Review Originally Posted at: Book Freak Rating:4.5 Stars Have you ever seen so much passion in helping others? Kate Parello had done nothing but help others, she was a Peace Corps brat. Her parents had been on humanitarian missions since she was young, and now, she runs a volunteer program in Belize for Artists for International Aid. Sounds professional right? But in reality, she’s doing more of babysitting celebrities who wanted publicity rather than real people wanting to make a change. Her world had revolved around this company, around the people in the community. She didn’t have any time for herself, or for having fun. She had a cause worth fighting for, and every day, her she makes a list of what to do next – falling in love wasn’t one of them. She had seen volunteers fell in love, and then the romance was suddenly over when it was time to come home. And she didn’t want that. She longed for something more. But looking at the sexy, handsome and talented artist, Sage Remington, who seemed to cause havoc with her emotions – her heart was really in danger. Two weeks – he signed in for two weeks of volunteer works, self-discovery and escape. He had everything – money and fame, every person’s dream. He was in the peak of his career in the busiest city in the world, and he had never felt more alone. He seemed lost, and he just wanted his life to have a meaning. When he was young, he and Jack used to go into the woods, and nothing gave him the sense of peace other than nature. And going to Belize, it was like coming home, only that this time, he had a bonus: meeting Kate. He was attracted to her, not just because of her beauty and her knack for organization but Kate was doing everything he wanted to do with his life – helping other people. But first, he needed to find out first what was missing in his life rather than wasting in on a woman. The attraction though was too potent to ignore. They both tried to stifle it, especially Kate who already stereotyped him like the rest of the celebs. She wanted him to be that so that she could hate him, but every time she does, he would find a way to defy her misconceptions about him. He was perfect, he was generous-to-a-fault, and somehow in the middle of all this, you will have this question: IS HE FOR REAL? Because that is what exactly Kate was feeling, that what exactly why she was hesitant to go into a relationship with him. First, he was a stranger, he was too good to be true, and he was a celebrity – she was just a volunteer who can’t compete with the gorgeous models he can have in New York. She has nothing to offer him. However, Sage was determined. Not just to have her, but to make a difference. And that is what this novel does: INSPIRE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, INSPIRE CHANGE. At the end of it, you will ask yourself, what will you do to make a difference in this world? Melissa Foster is one of my favorite contemporary romance authors, and her series are yet to disappoint me. She knows how to blend in family issues, love issues as well as social issues and make one heck of a novel that can inspire you to do something different. Just like the rest of her novels, I enjoyed reading it, watching them fight against their feelings, and finally succumb to love.  "Love me one stroke at a time." ¿Complimentary Copy was given in exchange for an honest review.¿

Sage is tired of donating money to causes and really wants to do some hands on work and not just signing a check. He is a wonderful artist but he is tired of living in New York. He feels like his life is missing something and it is only after he goes to Belize and meets Kate that he knows what is missing. Kate works hard and loves to help others. While she loves helping people she is tired of celebrities just coming in to get publicity. She has a hard time trusting them and Sage makes her see they aren't all like that. While they work together and she listens to Sage's ideas she just has to learn to open up her heart and learn to take a chance. Sage is a sweet caring guy who is very talented. He wants to do good for people and not to gain publicity. He actually wants to help. He works hard and if he had a downfall I would say it's that he gets so involved in his own world other people disappear, but he does try to change that. Kate has trouble with some changes and she has trouble trusting some people. She is very passionate about helping others who are less fortunate and she really believes in giving people joy. She is smart and at times can be afraid to take chances. I liked both of these character very much. I believe I could read any book by this author and love it. She has a way of making her characters seem so real you feel as if you really know them and you can't wait to read more about them. Sage's story is simply amazing as you get to see just what a fantastic guy he is. Not only does he want to do good he also knows when to admit he has faults. He is attracted to Kate from the start but doesn't try to take advantage and is more about showing her he isn't like others. They both clearly fall for each other quickly. This book to me was more about Kate learning to take chances and take help where she can. For Sage it is about showing him how he can do good. I love the setting of this book and seeing more of some of the characters I already know and love. The only ones I didn't like where the celebs and how they acted. I also have to say I love Lucy and hope he author considers making her her own happily ever after.

Do opposites really attract? Can down to Earth Sage really make a go at it with Little Miss Sassy Pants Kate? Stroke of Love is a stroke of genius! Melissa Foster usually provides backdrops that are reminiscent of somewhere I’ve been (Colorado, NY, the beach) but Belize is a new one for me. She manages to give just enough that I am able to picture everything, but not too much that I am overwhelmed with scenery.Sage Remington is an interesting addition to the family. Of the Remingtons that Melissa has introduced us to so far, he is the most unlike anyone that I know in real life. I throughly enjoyed the glimpse into the life of an artist, especially as I have absolutely no artistic leanings at all!Stop in for a steamy, dreamy, HOT love story you won’t want to put down!

This is the second book about the Remington siblings and this one brings us Sage. Oh, sweet Sage. *insert swooning here* Talented artist Sage Remington is looking for something bigger in his life – like finding out where he belongs. So, he decides it’s time for a retreat away from home and travels to Belize to find himself. Little does he realize he will find his future in that two week time frame. Sage is so relaxed, especially compared to Kate’s overly organized ways but together they make a great couple. Both selfless and both wanting what comes next. Melissa Foster does it again with a story of self-discovery, finding your soul mate, and living happily ever after. Although, this book is a bit different in how it’s written. To me it seemed like there was a lot of build up, but a rush to the end. That being said, the characters are easy to love, hard to let go, and definitely keep you on the edge wanting to know what comes next. I can’t wait to meet the rest of the Remington siblings in the next few books. Melissa Foster keeps bringing us all these sexy heroes and I definitely keep swooning.

Another winner for Melissa in my books! Stroke of Love made me feel every emotion the characters went through – unsure, anger, happiness, love, sadness. I loved everything about it and it made my mind go a mile a minute! I love that Sage has such a big heart and this book really got me thinking about helping others and going big, following my heart like Sage did. While Sage is not a Braden boy, I’m definitely having to rank him amongst one of my favorite Remington boys (I’ve met 3 so far and really, I think they all rank about even… although I’m thinking Sage may be about half a point higher than Jack, followed closely by Dex). There really is so much love and heart in this book that you can’t not fall in love with all of it!

Sage Remington, a definite hunk with an artistic soul wants to do more with his life. He is at the top of his game as an artist and has more money then he knows what to do with--he lives in Greenwich Village (NYC) and is actually quite unhappy. He decides to volunteer for two weeks in a small village in Belize to see if maybe he can "center" himself. He loves nature and the concrete jungle is not quite cutting it. The group of volunteers he joins up with are all celebrities and not at all like he is--of course he has to convince the woman in charge (Kate)--which does take a while, even though there is an instant attraction between them. Kate is all about lists and knowing exactly what is and will be happening at any second of any day. Sage is a do it by your gut kind of guy-I mean he is an artist. Talk about opposites attract--It isn't until Sage finally convinces Kate that he should help the kids draw a mural and the kids obviously like it and him that she begins a fast thaw. Everyone in the small village knows they were meant for each other but Kate! I loved how this book ended and can't wait until I find out if the not for profit business Sage is starting with Kate actually works out. I will continue reading this series because I am sure that somewhere down the line Melissa Foster will let us know!

Stroke of Love is book 2 in The Remingtons Series and book 11 in the Love In Bloom Series. From the first chapter of reading Stroke of Love I knew I was going to like it as much as I have liked Melissa Foster’s other novels in this series. What is there not to like? A hot artist  in the form of Sage Remington, what a man! Kate Parello the woman who is running the volunteer program in Belize for AIA a sexy lady that Sage cannot take his eyes off. But Sage thinks that Kate thinks he is a bit of a slimeball. What Sage doesn’t realise is that Kate is lusting after him just as much as he is of her. I loved that even though Sage had it all he was down to Earth and not stuck up like the other celebrities who were also on the volunteer program. It was inevitable that Sage and Kate would get together and have a fantastic romance but the journey was very emotional. There was real passion between these two characters and I felt what they were feeling. The sex was hot but the romance was hotter. Melissa has written yet another great addition to this series and I cannot wait for more. I love her work.

Melissa Foster has another hit on her hands. Frankly, I don't know how she does it. She has a knack for pulling the reader in, and making the reader care for and identify with her characters. I fell in love with Kate and Sage. Kate has a job that I always wished I could experience. Unfortunately, I've always let my everyday life and family commitments get in the way. Maybe one day, I can volunteer and help others in another country. I help others near me but never to where I've been totally immersed in a needy community. I have been able to make donations to help a small school in Africa. When I had to stop teaching because of my health, I had a pretty big classroom library. A friend had just started a school in Africa at the same time. So, I donated all of my books. I would just like to have more of a hands on experience. Anyway, Kate has a hard time getting over the fact that Sage is a wealthy, famous person. All of her experiences with celebrities have shown her that most of them are shallow, self-centered people who only volunteer for publicity. It takes her awhile to actually believe that he is a sincere person that does not want publicity. He genuinely wants to make a difference. I think we all dream of meeting a big hunk of a man that genuinely cares about others, like Sage. Kate is one extremely lucky woman, and of course, Sage is pretty lucky, too. I loved this book, and all of the books in this series. Melissa Foster is a talented author. Her imagination knows no bounds, and never fails to captivate her readers. I can't wait to check out the rest of this series. I give this book 5 stars. While this book can be read on its own, I strongly suggest that you read the entire series. This series is for mature audiences due to some adult situations. I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

You should watch out! Melissa Foster has a vivid talented writing skill. She creates a world within the readers mind. You are struck how her family of stories becomes yours. 'Stroke of Love' is another journey thru the authors family of stories and into the lives of Kate Parello and Sage Remington. Sage is not your normal egotistical artist, which comes as a shock to Kate.  He is much more than she expects when he volunteers for Artist for International Aid. Working in a remote village, there is much more heat going on here than the jungle normally provides. Even though Kate tries to keep her guard up, she slowly lets this unique man closer.... will she let herself be loved? Hmmmmm

Romance is not my usual genre, but as with all her books they have a way of whisking you away. Then before you know it you are lost within the characters of the book. Speaking of characters, one of the unique qualities that you will find in any of the books is that you become connected to the characters. Each one has a personality that reminds you of someone in your life. These kinds of connections is what keeps you immersed within the pages. For example, Ellie struggling with trust issues. Who hasn’t done that, this is further driven by her upbringing. Bringing characters, like Ellie to life, is what makes these books beyond good. There are many feelings that you will encounter while reading Game Of Love. I myself, found frustration, love, being happy, sad, etc. Once you begin following this series, you will certainly want to read each novel for new relationships, new insights, and lots of loving entertainment.
