Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water. On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.I hate to admit it, but I'm head over heels infatuated with him. There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers. What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.

Paisley & Reese meet when she starts working for his fake girlfriend. I know, I was confused also. This book has a lot of strong points to it and Reese is supremely hot, making him the book boyfriend worthy of drool. The real issue for me? Was the ultimate enemy, Bellini. She is self absorbed, rich, and entitled. (Flashbacks to High School Musical, anyone?) Unfortunately for the reader, we also hear her opinion of herself and the world around her. I was impressed with how the author approached this character, but not with the character herself. I am not one to give low scores on my blog - I usually just skip them. I just wanted the readers to know if you are into new adult books with many points of view, this is the book and series you have been waiting for. This story would make a great movie, but as a book it left me wanting. ***This book was given in exchange for an honest review only.

4.5stars Stoked is one funny sexy sports love story. I loved every page of it. The story is sooooo funny the actions from Paisley are from time to time hilarious I laugh a lot. I also loved Reese he really was a great character likable lovable sexy arrrr to eat. What was form my point unnecessary was POV from Bellini, I must say honestly I skipped a few sentence because who would like to read that nonsense from her head and behavior. But love between Reese and Paisley had brighten a story and I really enjoyed reading it. *ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

3 1/2 stars This was a difficult book for me to completely immerse myself into because I had read a book (that I LOVED) a while ago with a very similar story line...AT FIRST. This one took on a life of it's own that I wasn't expecting and really enjoyed. I love the Summer Olympics and the swimming events are #1 for me. Reese is the epitome of an elite athlete - with a swimmer's body and a heart of gold, it's a shame that he doesn't have his very own gold medal at the ripe old age of 32. It's his last go around and he sets himself up with reality star Bellini in an effort to continue a career once he hangs up his Speedo. Bellini is a complete nut job and is comic entertainment throughout the entire book. Enter Paisley - their new assistant for the show and her last shot at redemption to get back into an industry that she loves. There is an instant attraction between Reese and Paisley. While she tries her best to not act on it, Reese does an equally good job at pulling her in. Their attraction was palpable and enjoyable to watch unfold. The multiple POV's were fantastic. We really got into each of their heads and enhanced the read immensely. By the time I got towards the middle, I didn't want to put it down. The references to current and real life events Meghan puts in were spot on and made me laugh on several occasions. I would recommend this read. It was enjoyable, sexy, entertaining and funny in all the right ways. I received a NetGalley copy in exchange for an honest review.

Read this book if you need a laugh! Bellini is a crazy mess & I couldn't wait to read the next awful, hilarious word that came out of her mouth. Paisley & Reese are just perfect together- the chemistry jumps of the page. Can not wait for the next book in the series. Meghan Quinn is a new favorite author. What a great story! The whole cast of characters was fun to read about. I loved Reese and Paisley. I did not love Bellini. Talk about a nut job! Even though I didn't like Bellini, everyone's reaction to her was hilarious. I loved that she gave horrible nicknames to everyone. That just made me laugh. I loved that Paisleys roommate walked around naked every morning. I loved that Reese's friend Hollis wanted a bromance with jimmy Fallon. I especially loved how alpha Reese got with Paisley and that he never gave up pursuing her when Paisley was trying to resist him. Don't worry, she didn't resist him for long. And there was no cheating. You learn right away that Reese and Bellini are not actually together. I especially love that Meghan Quinn has plans to write two more standalone books in this series. I really hope Bodi Banks will be one of those books. He sounded just as hot as Reese. ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

In all seriousness, I don’t think I have laughed so hard and loved characters so much in such a long time – even the evil villain Bellini Chambers (I know *gasps)! Meghan has this way of really pulling a reader into a book and captivating them from the get go. Stroked is the perfect blend of humor, sweetness, and romance that really made my reader heart so very happy. Poor Paisley Macarro did the unthinkable on set of her film production job and now has to start all over again in the industry making a name for herself by being the assistant to Satan herself – Bellini Chambers, a reality TV star with the biggest ego I have ever encountered. Don’t even get me started on how repulsive and crazy this woman is (you will want to get to know her yourself so you can roll your eyes at her antics). Bellini is in a relationship with Reese King, aka the swimming Olympic God/underwear model. *swoons* You honestly couldn’t find a better male hero as Reese is a mix of vulnerable, loyal, good, sweet and OMG sexy! Sparks instantly fly between Reese and Paisley and their conversations, interactions are flirtatious and fun and I SO want this man to leave his wretched girlfriend for Paisley. Paisley for all of her trying, finds it completely hard to resist Reese’s cocky, sexy playfulness but she can not lose her job and has to work her butt off to get back the respect that she deserves. So what happens??? Well obviously I can’t tell you because this is a #mustread but I will say this…Stroked touches on the forbidden aspect of having a relationship with someone who is your employer so you get that angsty feeling in the pit of your belly wondering what will happen with this hot sexual chemistry between Reese and Paisley. Laugh out loud funny and sexy as hell! Meghan Quinn is the Queen of RomCom and I’m completely in lust with Reese King. Quinn’s trademark hysterical dialogue combined with a breath of fresh air storyline makes Stroked a not to be missed read.

This is a great book; this is the first book in The Stoked series written by Meghan Quinn. Reese King is an Olympic medalist he has never won a gold medal. This is his last year at the Olympics and his last chance to win gold. He has also signed up to be on a reality show posing as Bellini Chamber’s boyfriend. Bellini is a reality star and just an awful nasty person. When he meets Bellini’s new assistant Paisley he can’t stop thinking about her. Reese and Paisley are meant for each other. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night. If you are looking for a great book, then you need to read this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

This was an okay read for me. Bellini is just a bit to annoying for me and I didn’t need her point of view. I liked Paisley and Reese, they had great chemistry and the sex was hot. The story is funny and quirky.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads. Can I just say how much I loved this book? Completely and totally in love. I found Stroked to be a nice balance between the seriousness of the Bourbon series and the laugh out loud humor of The Mother Road – a romantic comedy that was truly funny without being over-the-top, even with the presence of the over-the-top Bellini. In this age a reality television and people achieving fame for acting like idiots, the storyline in Stroked was both amusing and an exercise in controlling one's vomit reflex. The latter is not a commentary on the writing or the book, but rather an indication of just how revolting of a character Quinn created in the narcissistic Bellini. I wish I could call her a caricature of reality television "stars," but people like her are why I stopped watching that kind of programming. Those who are famous solely for being rich and haven't accomplished anything, say like a multi-medal winning Olympic swimmer. Or a production assistant with a master's degree she obtained with almost no family encouragement (gotta love a supportive grandfather). While Bellini is exactly what Jasper calls her – the kind of person everyone loves to hate. Thankfully, she's only one-third of the strangest non-love triangle love triangle I've ever read and the page time given to Paisley and Reese's relationship and their inability to keep their hands off one another more than make up for the insanity that is Bellini. And seriously, once the seal is broken, Paisley and Reese are practically insatiable…and I loved it. Quinn writes great romance, great humor, and really great sex, and she brought it all to Stroked. More than once I had tears in my eyes – tears of heartbreak, tears of frustration (I wanted to kill Bellini for Paisely), and tears of laughter. I absolutely loved Stroked and am so freaking excited that this is only the first book in the series because it, hopefully, means that we’ll see more of Reese, Paisley, and yes, even Bellini.
