Chapter Seven Riding is the best thing in the world. The wind blows in my face, and added to my speeding horse, I feel like if I let go, I could fly away. I unbraid my hair and let the blonde waves tumble over my shoulders. The wind is in my hair, adding to the freedom feeling. J. R., Xavier, and Kato are visible from here. I can't find Cayd or Avian, however. Alaster's horse rockets by me. I lean forward and lightly tap my horse's flank. We move even faster, right on Alaster's tail. "Wait! Stop!" Spirit calls. I pull the reins, and my horse slows to a stop. Other horses halt all around me. "Okay!" Spirit yells. "You all will now split into groups. This is a short training session to prepare you for your first Challenge. Groups of no more than six and no less than two." I look around. "Alaster?" "Sure." She agrees. "And my friend Amithiyst." "Okay." I nod. "Amithiyst!" Alaster calls. A girl with auburn hair and unusual, light purple eyes rides over. "Hi." She says. Her white horse is small and quick, but it carrise her just fine. "Hi." I answer. We gather together and wait. "Hey! Can I join your group?" A girl asks. She has curly, cinnamon colored hair, dark skin, and brown eyes. Her large horse is the color of soot. "Yeah," I answer. She looks about twelve. "Thanks! I'm Lila." She says, smiling brightly. "I'm Terrin." The others introduce themselves. We wait for a while as everyone gets into groups. Finally, we hear the call. "Go!"

It was a fun read, full of action and irreverent mayhem. I recommend it to anyone looking for a little escape from reality.
