Ok so I have always loved K.A. Linde. I LOVE the Record Series. It is my favorite of hers. I read the first three books and was sad when I came to the end of Brady and Liz’s story. So imagine how happy I was to find out that the series would continue with Clay Maxwell. And what can I really say, she knocked it out of the park with Clay. Now don’t get me wrong, Brady has a special place in my heart, but DAMN, Clay just claimed his own little place there too. Clay and Andrea have an interesting dynamic. They have been together for 10 years but never have committed to each other. They have a rule, when they are together, they are together. When they are apart, all is fair. Someone broke the rules and it forces them to make a decision. K.A. Linde fans will not be disappointed with Struck From the Record. Great storyline, wonderful sexy characters, awesome writing style all make for a fantastic read.

When days later you still cry from a few of the scenes from the book, you know it's one that touched your heart and soul.... I was in love with Clay Maxwell from the beginning of the series. I mean, who doesn’t like the bad boy rebel?? Times change, feelings change, people grow. It was a hard concept for Clay at first but when he realized his mistakes, he gave it his all. This book was packed full of emotion, KA Linde simply at her best. The growth and strength both Clay and Andrea had to come to terms with was an amazing journey, one that shows that it doesn’t matter how old you are, once you meet your soul mate, they are there for life. This book was very well written. Had amazing characters. Brought the entire Maxwell clan closer together. Highly recommend this book and even though it could be read as a standalone, I would recommend you also read the rest of the books in this series. 5++++++++ Stars for KA Linde’s new release!!

Really enjoyed this book although I thought it a bit unrealistic in places and nobody in this world should have that much money... Clay was a hunk but again could such an educated and bright man be such a jerk in the way he treated Andrea... Talk about "have your cake and eat it too"... Overall a very good read and I will read the next book when it comes out this fall...

Clay f**king Maxwell…. Gah….. Where do I start, where do I start??!!!! There is just something about the black sheep of the family, the bad boy that makes you love them so much more, am I right??!!! I devoured Struck from the Record by KA Linde and I so wished there was more!! This was a complete novel and I wanted it to be a series!! That is how much I loved me some Clay! I’ve read The Record series so I know all about Clay and his tendencies and I was excited to read his and Andrea’s story. Clay and Andrea had an understanding. They had a game, an open relationship that worked for them for more than ten years. When they were together, they were together, but when they were apart, they were fair game to do whatever they wanted. “They had rules, and they were simple. When they were together, it was just the tow of them. Whey they were apart anything was fair game.” Until one night where everything changed, the game changed for them both. One event will change the game for them both. Needing more Andrea wants Clay to commit to an exclusive relationship but Clay doesn’t see anything wrong with their arrangement. Andrea does the hardest thing she has ever done and walked away. At first Clay is the typical man, with the “I don’t need her attitude”. This just fuels his bad boy ways even more. More women, more booze, but still something is missing. Nothing is able to fill the void that Andrea left. “He had always been so confident and cocky in the fact that he had his own life. It was completely separate from her. The part of him that never needed anyone. Now he knew that as a lie. “ Can Clay win back Andrea or has too much time passed and too many mistakes made? Will he be able to salvage their relationship and have his own happily ever after?? You will need to read Struck from the Record to find out!! Huge 5 stars!!

Struck from the Record is the latest installment in The Record series by K.A. Linde, one of my favorite authors of the decade! I fell in love with the Maxwell family in the first three novels, based around Clay Maxwell’s older brother Brady. In Struck from the Record we finally get Clay’s story. We were given bits and pieces of him in the first three, but you will never truly understand his soul until you read this book! This book was packed full of emotions I never thought I’d have for Clay, and as I read Clay and Andrea’s story I was given a new perspective into this cocky playboy. And fell in love! In this book we get more backstory to the history of Clay and Andrea, two characters we know little about. Clay and Andrea have had a relationship for over 10 years and that relationship has been pretty open to do what they each please. Until one of them changes the game and it throws the whole game for a spin. There is not much I can put into a review without giving away more of the plot, which I feel like if you love this series, you deserve to uncover for yourself. I can tell you it was very emotional at times, yet so full of angst and lots of heart. The character development Kyla brings to these two characters is astonishing once again. I love that we also get so much of Brady and Liz throughout, as well as a glimpse into what Savannah’s story (the next book) will be about. There were several parts of this book I went back too and read again as they were just so well written and placed that they deserved to be fully understood (Chapter 29-Epilogue). I can’t wait for this book to release and to be able to FINALLY chat with fellow K.A. Linde fans about this wonderful story I’m sure they will fall in love with just as much! Kyla has packed so much angst, filled these characters with so much emotion, and in doing so, she truly managed to put Clay in competition with his brother Brady for my pick for favorite Maxwell! This story can be read as a standalone book, but there is so much from the past characters mixed in that it truly is best if you read the first three and experience Brady & Liz first so when you see them in this book it’s just adds even more of a conclusion to their story.
