The recipes are more complicated than I thought--although still good. More time to prepare than a busy student has. There are SO many typos in the Nook version it is embarrassing. Poorly proofread-- no excuse in an electronic digital world.

This wasn't the greatest vegan cookbook I've ever seen. The recipes weren't exciting, and I just couldn't get motivated to try out many of them. I guess if you were a student and had limited time and resources, it could be helpful. It just seemed like most of the recipes were so simple that I wouldn't need a cookbook to tell me how to do them. That being said, it has some good information, and I think it would be a great gift for someone young that was new to veganism and didn't really understand the basics of the movement and the diet. I think that the chocolate rice pudding recipe looks pretty good, but like I said, it's one of those that's so simple I don't think you'd actually need a recipe to do it. For an easy to use and introductory cookbook, try Vegan Vittles.
