Overview

People will always offer advice, but it will always be our choice whether we apply it or not. Even in the wisdom that our parents, grandparents, or closest confidants give us to be our sounding board. I'd be lying if I told you that, as intelligent as I knew my dad to be, I never wondered what in the world he was talking about and how it could actually apply to my life.
Until he left here, I didn't realize what many of his golden nuggets of wisdom meant. Well, I'm pretty sure I've figured it out (kinda) and I wanted to share my new-found knowledge with you. Yes, you, struggling with what's next and wondering where God is in all of it. You, only looking for a little piece of advice and some guidance. And for you, whose dad may not have been around to pour into you as mine did. I share what I was given and how God made it all make sense.
No matter how you grew up or what examples you did or did not see, you were set up to succeed by God, the creator of the universe. It can't get any better than that. He is your encourager, your rock, and your example of what greatness is to look like. His favor over you is proof that He cares for you.
When you need advice and cannot reach anyone, hopefully you will remember all the Stuff My Daddy Taught Me.
