Fantastic in every sense of the word. I don't generally read much Sci-Fi, but this is so much better than most novels in the genre. It's got wonderful characters, a gripping story, and flat-out beautiful writing. I can't wait to read what this author publishes next!
This novel has really stayed with me. With carefully crafted language and subtle grace, the author wove a world that feels real and characters that I care about. While the story was getting going, I was intrigued by the vision and lingo of this far-future world — how it is similar to and different from other scifi I have read. And once the plot kicked in during the second half, I couldn't put the book down. Looking forward to a rereading!
