Overview

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jill Sanders is back with another steamy session of adult summer camp.

Though Elle Saunders grew up in Florida, life hasn’t always been sunny. When she and her best friends take over the summer camp where they met as kids, things start looking up. But the camp, now a sexy getaway for wealthy guests looking for fun and romance, is definitely a handful. And the hunky brothers she hired to help manage things aren’t making life any easier—especially that Liam…

Liam Costa wrangled this job to confront the woman he thought had seduced his father and lured him away from the family business. But Liam didn’t count on Elle being so mesmerizingly beautiful, and suddenly he’s having trouble focusing on, well, anything but her.

Elle and Liam have been dancing around each other all summer. He’s powerfully drawn to her, and she to him, but Elle doesn’t trust herself with love. She’s had bad luck with men, and he’s a sexy distraction she can’t afford.

This is a second book from Wildflowers and Elle falls for the youngest of Costas brothers Liam. The story is parallel to the first one but is great because there are not a lot of repetitive and I enjoyed reading this story much more than the first. Both Elle and Liam are both well developed and interesting and make a cute couple. Their story is simple, romantic and interesting. Waiting for the next one and to see how will it end. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley

This is the second book in this series and you could read this one without reading the first but the first was really good! This one is about Elle and Liam. Elle's grandfather left her and the other Wildflowers (that is what she and her friends called themselves) the camp they turned into an upscale camp for adults and Liam and his brothers are still looking for their father. Now they find out Elle really does know who their father is. This series is great and I cannot wait for the next book!

Reading this I did not realize it was the second in a series. Which has me quite psyched to read book one. I really enjoyed this story. Loved Liam and Ellie and the other Wildflower sisters. Love how the story tied in some of the camp characters. There is romance and secrets and some trouble brewing but all those mix for a great story line and kept me hooked. Thank you in advance to the author and publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Not quite sure what the problem was but I just couldn't connect with the characters or setting. The story moved way too slow to hold my interest and I had a hard time finishing the book. I am not much on romance books but had read this author in the past an enjoyed that book as it had more 'meat on the bone'. If you want a romance with a light twist that you can easily put down and pick up later -then this book is for you. I received this book as a complimentary copy for an unbiased review. The opinions expressed are my own.

Just as well written as book 1, a smart, sexy romance, Jill Sanders is one-click favorite. I truly enjoyed getting to re-aquainted with this cast of characters and look forward to more books in the future. Thanks to NetGalley for an advanced copy for an honest review.

This is Elle and Liam book, this is the second book in the wildflowers series! Let me tell you I’m loving this series! It’s funny, witty, a little heartbreaking and definitely some steam to it! Elle and her best friends grew up in Florida and they all went to the same summer camp where they met as kids. When Elle grandfather passes away her and her best friends decide to re-open the summer camp they loved as kids but with a twist now it’s going to be a sexy getaway for wealthy guests looking for fun and romance! When a trio of brothers come looking for a job they hire them but they know they’re hiding some secrets! Liam thinks Elle has seduced his father but he didn’t expect her to be so beautiful! They are both drawn to each other but they both have some secrets of their own so they’re trying to stay away! I definitely recommend reading this book and the series! It’s well worth the read! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!!

3.75/5 This is the second book of the Wildstone series and the first one that I have read. Even though this could be read as a standalone, I think that reading book 1 first would help you understand the characters of this story. Having not read the first book, I was a little lost but not much. I found that Elle and Liam were likeable. Their chemistry was off the charts. It was a good read.

I am totally loving this series. These sisters have a tight and loving circle always having each other's back but each has their own insecurities. Brothers apply for jobs at the girls new adult camp who have secrets of their own. Jill Sanders knows just how to give her readers an intense mystery, steamy chemistry, and the push and pull of learning to trust and love

Book two in Jill Sanders new series, Wildflowers, about a summer camp turned high end resort/retreat. After he died,. Elle Sanders inherited the summer camp her grandfather ran for years. Wanting to keep the land and his legacy, she convinces her friends to go in with her on a new venture...a high end luxury resort for adults. Needing help, the girls hire three brothers as general men-of-work. Romance blooms between Elle and the youngest brother, Liam, as they work together to achieve success. Sexy and sweet, with some quirky moments thrown in, Summer Heat is sure to satisfy you.

Interesting take on writing in this series Each one tells the story from a different perspective While at the same time each book is the story of a different couple The story revolves around a camp for wealthy guests and the disappearance of the Costa father. At the same time we get a the love story of Liam and Elle you don'e really need to read the first book to follow the story however as the writing is so flawless I would recommend that you

Five friends, the Wildflowers, have come back together after the loss of Elle’s grandfather to re-open the camp where they first met. I love these friendships. They are real, they are not perfect, and they are forever. These amazing ladies call each other out, stand up for each, and protect each other all while smiling, laughing, crying, and loving. While they are friends, it is true that they are really sisters. Liam…sigh, he is so sexy and sweet. The reason for him coming to the camp is not necessary with the best intentions but it quickly becomes clear that he cares for Elle and realizes that she could not be the one with the answers he is looking for. I really enjoyed these two coming together. They make sense, they fulfill each other, and they trust each other. Summer Heat is a quick and easy book with characters that are relatable and fun. I’d recommend Jill Sanders to anyone who enjoys sweet and sexy mixed in with fun.

This is book 2 in the Wildflowers series and I would absolutely read book 1 before reading book 2 as this story kind of coincides with book 1. You may be confused about some things if you don't read book 1. In this one we get Elle and Liam's story. Elle and her friends have taken over what was their summer camp and turned it into an adult getaway. And since it is such a handful for them to keep running, they hire brother's to help them manage everything. Liam took the job in order to get close to Elle and confront her on luring his father away from not only his business but his family. But the attraction they both feel for each other keeps getting in the way of what they both think they need to be concentrating on. This story is basically a continuation of the first book but it runs concurrently with it. Liam and Elle have a lot of chemistry together but they also have a lot of issues that they need to work out. This book seemed to have quite a few things besides just a romance story. There is suspense in there as they try to figure out exactly what happened with his dad, there are secrets that need to be dealt with and it almost seemed like a second chance even though it technically really wasn't. Definitely well worth the read and I can't wait to read the 3rd book and find out where the author takes us next!

Summer Heat by Jill Sanders a five-star read that will bring the heat. This is the second story in the Wildflowers series and in my opinion it is so much better than the first, maybe it was as I knew the characters so much better or just that we got into the pace all I know is I enjoyed this immensely. Elle Saunders was the quiet one in my mind, the one who has seemingly lost the most, but in some ways, she was also the one who gained the most. This is a thrilling story and one that will warm even the coldest of hearts. Part of that reason is Liam Costa, a man who has a way with his hands and can make magic out of wood, just like the magic in this story. Number three can’t come soon enough!! I need to get back to camp.

Elle’s grandfather left his camp for kids to Elle and her four friends ... the Wildflowers. They hire the Costa Brothers to help them with the renovations, so they can open the camp for new clientele ... Snowbirds. Liam Costa loves to work with his hands and was hired on for his carpentry work. When Elle and Liam meet the sparks fly, but Liam doesn’t act on his feelings because he believes that Elle is his father’s mistress. This is a cute summer romance ... I laughed and swooned. You can read this book as a standalone, but I would suggest reading the first book ... it would make this book easier to follow as there is a part of the story that continues from the first book and continues through this book into the next book. I presume there will be a book for each of the five Wildflowers. I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake Romance through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I am glad to get more of the story of the missing dad. Still a mystery. I like Elle and Liam. Their story overlaps with the first book in this series and explains more about what is happening with Liam's father. It was pretty much love at first sight, but neither of them wanted to admit it. When Elle finds out Liam's real identity, she isn't sure she can be with someone who would lie to her. Liam feels bad about the secrets, but they had to do that in order to find their dad. Once the truth is out, will they have a chance?
