About the Author

I live in the North-East of England, UK. From an early age I had a love of writing, mostly poetry and short stories.

I trained and graduated in Performing Arts. After time went by, I wanted to re-visit my real passion. So after my first son was born, I began writing Kiera's Quest.

I live happily with my very supportive husband and my two beautiful boys. I have many ideas for stories! I just wish there were more hours in the day.

She awoke to the pain of severe burns. With no memory of her past and only strangers to tell her who she was, Summer can’t even tell who to trust. Why can’t she remember her past? Why can’t she remember the young woman she was or what she even likes? He trained his entire life to end her existence. It was up to him to save the world from the destruction she is meant to unleash. Alex Doones is on a mission, a mission he never expected he would fail at. And yet, he kept saving her time and again, but why? Kristy Brown has created a fresh new young adult fantasy tale with all of the intrigue, the mystery and the forbidden romance that transcends, then creates new conflicts! Her main characters are well-fleshed out with a little mystery behind each! SUMMER’S END is a wonderful read that leaves just the right amount of what ifs at the end to have me thinking about the future of these characters and the worlds they live in! Kristy Brown has written something completely different!
