Sunflower Seeds by Susan J. Knuth is a phenomenal work of Art. I have never read a novel that came more full-circle, or with a more universal message. It is a tale of two photographers, Maggie and Andrew. When they meet, astonishing and curious phenomenon starts to appear within their photographs - images that cannot be explained by science. The more drawn to each other they are, the more magic and mystery starts to happen to them, around them, and because of them. The relationship turns romantic, which is complicated by certain factors. The two need to find a way to solve the puzzle of the mysterious happenings and so delve into Native American culture, and the advice of their Sage Friend, Hannah to find the Truth. This novel is marvelous! I would suggest to just just about any teen or adult reader. There are elements that would appeal to anyone: it is a romance, a mystery, contemporary and historical. People may also enjoy this novel if they have an interest in Native American Culture. New Age belief, Kansas scenery . . . or just great writing in general. Ms. Knuth's writing style is amazing. Each character has a distinct personality that makes them fully believable and relatable. The dialog is also quite grabbing, in that it is so authentic. I so want to tell about the ending, but I know I cannot give any spoilers. Trust me that it is the resolution of all resolutions. Love Susan J. Knuth! I'm her biggest fan!
