Overview

It's senior year for Buffy Summers and her friends. And that means homecoming, senior prom, finals, graduation -- all the usual evil doings guaranteed to make the Chosen One long for recess.

Slayer duties caused Buffy to miss picking up her Yearbook, so Willow took it for her and enlisted the help of Xander, 0z, Cordelia, Giles, and Angel to make it truly special. Filled with personal notes, candid photos, and in-jokes about Slayerfest, Halloween, substitute teachers, the principal who was eaten, Ascension, etc. -- Buffy's Yearbook is part school publication, part memory book.

Written by the authors of the bestselling The Watcher's Guide, this keepsake volume is packed with key references to the show and characters, 32 full-color pages of fan-favorite moments, and Graduation photos!

To Our Protector
by Jonathan Levenson

Those of you who attended this year's prom got to witness the presentation of a new award here at Sunnydale High. The "Class Protector" umbrella trophy was presented to Buffy Summers. It was not a very beautiful trophy, because I didn't have a lot of time, and nobody contributed as much money as they promised. But it was heartfelt. Buffy Summers has been our umbrella. Especially the pointy part on top.
Thank you, Buffy.

Homecoming
Sunnydale Crowns Two Lovely Queens

Behold their majesties! As Devon MacLeish of the Dingoes asked for "the envelope, please!" he announced another first in S.H.S. history. The Sunnydale High student body chose two beautiful seniors to reign over them at Homecoming. This may have been the first time there has ever been a tie for Queen, but what a hard choice it was to vote from among all the candidates!

Queen Holly Charleston enjoys her second consecutive year on the Homecoming Court. She has been a member of the volleyball team for all four years. Holly is a well-known leader on campus and an active member of the Mayor's Youth Council. Her hopes for the future are to attend an Ivy League college and live happily ever after. Queen Michelle Blake is a newcomer to the Homecoming Court. Recently transferred from Providence, Rhode Island, she is also a member of the Mayor's Youth Council. Her future plans are "to remain in Sunnydale for the rest of my life and marry someone with the initials S. H. "

Escort Joe Nakamura was happy to pose with Queen Holly. The senior anticipates acceptance to Harvard, in preparation for medical school. Escort Alex DuVallier squired Queen Michelle to her royal throne. After graduation, he will assume night manager duties at the Putter's Green Mini-Golf Course and attend Crestwood College in the fall.

Sunnydale Salutes Two Beautiful Runners Up

Beautiful senior Cordelia Chase, a member of Varsity Cheer, was May Queen last year. That in itself was quite an accomplishment for a junior. As a senior, Cordelia has graced many a school function with her style and grace.

Pretty senior Buffy Summers came to Sunnydale as a sophomore from Los Angeles and has managed to find a niche at S.H.S. She can often be seen hanging with her friends in the library or in the lounge.

Their Majesties' Court

Juniors Katrina Giersch and Tracy Malcolm have both been on the Court before and were thrilled to wear the crowns of Junior Princesses.

Sharon Simonet and Jessica Morris were proud to be selected as the Sophomore Princesses. They hope to be princesses next year as well.

Being freshmen and princesses as well was very exciting for Jenny Naranjo and Susan Conklin.

Homecoming Dance
A Fashion Perspective by Harmony Kendall

The homecoming dance sets the fashion standard for the rest of the school year. This is a chance for the best of us to shine. But not just that. It's also a chance for us to study the less taste-equipped, to offer them guidance and constructive criticism. Then they, in turn, can pass it on to those too pathetic to even get asked to the dance. It's the circle of life.

This year's homecoming dance started out like a ray of golden hope into the dark world of the style-starved. The dresses, in general, left behind the ruffles and flounces of girlhood, and favored instead the sleek silhouettes of womanliness. All in all, the dance was a veritable gift basket of fashion-dos!

It was, that is, until Buffy Summers and Cordelia Chase arrived. With their artfully torn gowns, streaked faces, and tangled hair, they attempted to inject a kind of Courtney Love You-know-I'm-cool-because-l-look-like-trash sensibility into the proceedings. It was a fashion miscalculation of the highest order.

Jeers! Jeers, I say to Buffy and Cordelia for thumbing their oh-so-smudged noses at the fashion rule of law. Without fashion there is anarchy, and without Cordy and Buffy, there is fashion!

It is quirky, with 32 full color pictures of Buffy, her pals and the such. Cordy, Xander, Willow, Oz, Giles and Angel stole her book and wrote little thoughts and expressions on the pages. I personally wish that Angel wrote more, but hey... As long as we get to see SOMETHING Angel, right?

I just got the Sunnydale High Yearbook and I am happy to say that I really liked it! It was really fun and made me feel like I was one of Buffy's friends and that I went to Sunnydale High. I thought that it was really cool! There were a lot of pictures and even color pictures.People like Xander and Cordelia and Willow and other poepl signed it and wrote things to Buffy in it. I really like this book and I highly recommend it.

This book is really cool if you're a big fan. Though I had to watch some episodes very closely to remember whose names are in the yearbook (for example, the guys from the swimteam in 'Go fish'). The book has a hard cover, so it looks very nice on your coffeetable! It's packed with great photos and the scribbling inside is very cool. Definitely recommend it!

Hello there all you fellow Buffy & Angel fans! We all know of Sunnydale High, but we don't really know it. This book gives you a one-on-one basis with Sunnydale High, and its students. I definatly reccomend it. I think Sunnydale High is a high school most teens dream of attending, for the quality of friendliness, extra curicular activities, and fun. The only downside is the Hellmouth, but that doesn't really matter to Buffy & her friends, nor to I, but think about it, you get to see what Buffy is doing while she isn't slaying (which is like 99.999% of the time!). So I definatly reccomend it to hard-core Buffy fans!

It was almost like a real yearbook!!!!!If you're a Buffy fan, you've got to have the Sunnydale High Yearbook! It's filled with pictures, info, drawings, and messages. I read it all the time. It's a great show and a great book!!!

I thought that some of the things in it were cool, even though some of it was kinda dumb, like a lame joke or something. But, all in all, it was pretty good, considering the graduation day they had.

This was an interesting book. It was kindof stupid in some places but I liked how Xander drew on peoples faces(especially Wesleys)

I thought some parts were really good. Although I thought the whole thing was a little drawn out. It had little purpose.

I absolutely loved this book especially the signatures and messages in the front..It was remarkably like a REAL yearbook (except for the way the pictures revolved around the main characters). Despite a few misquotations this book was woderful!!! I would recommend this to anyone and everyone!

I absolutely loved this book! I am also a fan of the tv show. I thought this was a terrific addition to the whole BTVS book series. Any BTVS fan needs this book.

This yearbook really rocks it is almost accurate but in the book under 'livin la vida slayer loca' it says that Buffy said'Generally speaking, when scary things get scared not good.' Actually Xander said that to Mrs.Summers, in episode'Dead Man's Party.' But it still is a great collectable from the makers of Buffy.

The Sunnydale High yearbook is one of my favorite things out there for Buffy memorabilia. It's jam-packed with the little world in its own of Sunnydale High. I loved it the most because of it's candid's and info on the students at the school. It's a little exspensive but worth every penny.

This book is so totally awesome- I read like all the time I give it 5 stars all the way. I thought it was nice that all of Buffy's friends made it, although Angel was in there and he is a vampire and they don't show up in pictures- that's called being politically correct. I don't care any picture of Angel is print worthy!

I think this Yearbook is great, but there were afew mistakes. Oz does in fact have first and last name. It is Daniel Ozbourne. And a few of the quotes were off. Other than that it was good. Great pictures and intresting facts. I give it four stars
