About the Author

Sunshine In The South, the brainstorm of Joyce Beaty. Joyce never believed this book would come about. Then her sister Patty Beaty started to try her hand at writing. This book is what is the result of years of hopeful wishing, and hard work on the part of both sisters. This is also a dream come true for both of us.
We were born on a small farm in Nebraska. We came from a large family, four brothers and another sister. Neither of us would trade our growing up years for anything. Ours is a very close family, and now with nieces, nephews and grandkids a very large family.

What a wonderful sourthern love story. It's about Sunshine Blake, a teacher, who has always been facinated by the South, their way of living and the plantation life. This summer she's having her dream summer vacation - going to South Georgia. Beau Sinclair is a real southern gentleman who has the Sinclair Plantation. Since his grandfather died, it was stipulated in his will that Beau had to marry or forfeit the plantation to his offensive cousin, Leslie. How fortunate that Sunshine comes along - or is it? There is one calamity after another. This story engages all your emotions. There is homor, happiness, tears and heartache. I can't do this book the justice it derserves, all I can say is I loved it and so highly recommend it. You know by the ending, there is another book coming about one of the other characters in this book and I'm looking forward to that one too. This was a gift from the author for an honest review.
