About the Author

Landria Voigt (Atlanta, GA)  is a Holistic Nutritionist and graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is also the creator of the popular Paleo blog StirItUp which focuses on family-friendly Paleo recipes and nutritional advice. Landria came to be deeply passionate about nutrition after her own struggles with autoimmune disease. Her special area of interest is the nutritional needs of children. I am thrilled to finally have some healthy options for my children's school snacks! The recipes are easy to follow and the pictures are beautiful as well. Landria is the Paleo Marth Stewart! We love the crunchy sweet potato fries, creamy zucchini, kale and squash chips, the crunchy crackers d the almond cheese crackers. Our favorite "go to" dinner is the baked chicken nuggets and my husband and I love the bacon cauliflower soup.

LOVE this book!  Every single recipe that I have made so far has been fantastic.  This book has single-handedly made going Paleo so much easier for me and my teenaged son and my teenaged daughter and husband are somewhat going Paleo by default and are not complaining because everything tastes so good!  Favorites so far include:  blueberry muffins, egg muffins, zesty walnut Brussels sprouts, crispy maple granola, crunchy sweet potato fries, crunchy omega-3 flax granola and savory baked chicken nuggets (the whole family's favorite!). Buy without will be your favorite cookbook from the first recipe you make!

What a wonderful receipt book on super healthy and delicious paleo snacks. I follow Landria's blog and have gotten some great ideas on cooking a healthy snack/meal, but to have 100 receipts in one book is fantastic, especially when your planning family meals or having a social get together or party and just want something different. delicious and OH so healthy. Love the sweet bacon kale, zesty walnut brussell stouts and I, especially, love the molten lava cake for dessert. This is one AMAZING cook book!!!

I have already made a few recipes!! All of them so quick and easy and delicious!! I love the pictures which help my 2 young daughters help decide what we are going to try to make!!

I was so excited to get this Paleo snack book and Landria did not disappoint. I began flipping through the pages and my 5 year old promptly confiscated it chattering excitedly about "is this the new cookbook for me, is this the one I can pick any page I want, is this the one with the healthy food that we can eat whenever we want, is this the one we can use together?" She poured over it and carefully decided which snack she wanted to make first. She selected the chicken nuggets and we made them together the next day. My 2 year old and 5 year old had so much fun with the cooking process; because the set up was so easy I was able to have everything ready to go as soon as the oldest got home from school and that was key to success. My short fuse combined with her short attention span is usually a recipe for disaster when we try to cook together. This was by far the best cooking experience we have had together. Yeah!!!!!!!! At least 3 out of 4 members of our family have loved every recipe we have tried (as far as I'm concerned there is really no accounting for 2 year old taste buds). I cook from this book several times a week and not just for snacks; many of the items make great breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods as well. The short list of ingredients and simple steps make it so convenient to use and the flavors are incredible. Way to go Landria, Thank you for such a user friendly guide to healthy eating.

Thank goodness Landria took the time and effort to put together such DELICIOUS snacks that my kids are truly begging for. (I get a little smile inside knowing that they are packed with nutrition and health but I don't have to tell them that!). I have made several recipes and they are all very easy and quick to make. We cannot keep the Crunchy Maple Granola around b/c it gets eaten so quickly. Do yourself a favor and make a double batch. Super Paleo Snacks is a cookbook to keep out on the counter and use every day!

Two years ago I was diagnosed with celiac disease and forced to go gluten/dairy free. I thought that all of my health problems would be solved. Was I ever wrong!  As I continue to move toward the ever intimidating paleo diet, this book has been a huge gift!  The recipes are simple and easy to follow with beautiful pictures. The recipes are delicious and perfect for the lunchbox, too!  Landria has given me the confidence to continue on into the paleo world, showing me that it's not hard to feed my family healthy treats in a delicious way!!

I'm so excited to add this book to my repertoire of Paleo cookbooks! Snacks are the one area where I feel the most inadequate in terms of providing my kids with healthy and tasty options. This book fills that void. The pictures are gorgeous and the recipes are all straight forward and quick and easy to make. The author has also included a great introduction and guide to Paleo ingredients that would be very helpful to those new to cooking and baking in this way. Since receiving this book yesterday, I've already made both Pigs in a Blanket and the Molten Lava Cakes to rave reviews from my family of 5. My kids swear that you should buy the book just for the Lava Cake recipe alone! We've dog-eared a bunch more pages and we can't wait to try out more of these super user friendly recipes!
