WENDY BAZILIAN, DrPH, MA, RD, is a doctor of public health, registered dietitian, and American College of Sports Medicine–certified health and fitness instructor. She is the co-owner of Bazilian's Health Clinic in San Diego, where she resides.

STEVEN PRATT, MD, FACS, is the best-selling author of SuperFoodsRx and SuperFoodsRx Healthstyle, and a senior staff ophthalmologist at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, California. He lives in Del Mar, California.

This is the second Super Foods Rx book I have read. They are both packed with information on getting healthy. This book adds more depth to the original Super Foods. It gives us great ways to make healthier choices in our everday diet. I would recommend this book to everyone. It has inspired me to add the super foods into my daily diet. Not only for me but for my husband and son as well. It has inspired me to do better. I feel healthier and happier already because I am making good decisions. It also has a listing of recommended foods. I LOVE IT.

The book is written well, offers great information and tips, the recipes are plentiful, varied and good. But most of all the diet, as a lifestyle, works so easily...I feel and look better than I have in years. This is not your typical 'diet book', everything is easy to do, nothing pre-packaged so you can modify easily to fit your life - you'll not only lose weight but be healthy and more active (almost in spite of yourself). Highly recommended!

This book was easy to read and understand. It is super simple to follow! I didnt feel like it was a 'diet' book. There is a lot of great advice that doesnt just have to do with food that has helped me get on track.

I found this book to be very confusing. The meal plans and guidelines are written in such a way that is very hard to follow. I have made the pumpkin chili recipe and found it to be very bland. I ended up having to add extra spices just to have some kind of flavor.  I am guessing these other "reviews" are fake, esp because there are so few of them. I would not recommend this book. Just eat healthy and you will lose weight.

If you've read the Superfoods Rx book then this is the perfect companion. I wanted to lose weight and eat the foods that would be the most nutritionally dense. This was the perfect solution! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to lose weight effectively, efficiently, and permanently keep the weight off. It does not matter if you want to lose 5 or 50 pounds. This is the book for you! I think that the recipes were easy and perfectly portioned as well as the additional information that is included to keep your "cravings" at bay.
