Only gave this book four stars because it claims to be a Superman and Wonder Woman story but in truth it's a Superman story with Wonder Woman playing a supporting role. The story inside involving Superman resisting his transformation into Doomsday is a good enough story but it is not the Superman/Wonder Woman love story I was expecting and because of that I feel the book is lacking somewhat. The added Future Ends stories tacked-on to this series is more in that vein as both heroes are involved but they have nothing to do with the overall story of Superman struggling for control of his soul - a story that belongs in the Superman universe and not this one, IMO. It can be a little confusing for a new reader to the New 52 world and that's a shame because this series showed so much promise and the first volume was so brilliantly written and drawn that it makes this entry suffer all the more.
